Such a beautiful place to stay, kind staff, and very comfortable/luxurious hotel room. The staff were so helpful when checking us in and out. The room was immaculate and we were shocked with how well equipped the room was (oven, dishwasher, washing machine). Very comfortable stay and well worth the money. This will be our go to place in the future.

The water is always nice and warm in both the spa and the pool. The beds are super comfortable and it's very handy to all shops within 2 mins walking distance. The entire building is modern and new.

great location, walk to restaurants. easy underground parking ($35). the room was clean. very small, and a bit dark due to black kitchen and cabinets, plus not a lot of natural light. next time I'd ask for an exterior room with a balcony door that opens. Our door did not open and the front desk person said our room didn't include an opening door (really??). But, for the location it's a great place to stay. right in the middle of collingville and fitzwood.

Friend and I stayed for 4 nights! Location great. Room not so great. It looks fantastic but is so impractical. No space to store luggage. Hanging closet exceptionally small and located next to cook top. No privacy when getting dressed after shower as there was no door. Good thing my friend & I know how to give each other space. The outdoor balcony made me wonder what a prison cell would feel like. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over my life but this one will stand out for all the wrong reasons. I also need to comment on the front desk staff as not once did they look up as I walked past or greet me. On a positive note the bed was good.

The location for us was perfect. We have family living in Fitzroy, so this hotel was very central for catching up. We stayed for 3 nights, left for two, and returned for another two nights, we were able to leave a suitcase whilst we were away. The pool area is great, with fire pits (if required), bean bags and comfy seating. The pool (outdoor) is slightly heated so pleasant to use. The hot tub is undercover and has easy access. The rooms are modern and in the suite we had a kitchenette with microwave, medium size fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. There was complimentary coffee pods with a Nespresso machine. The room is a little tight if you like to spend time in your room.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter and absolutely loved it. The room was a great size, fully self contained with kitchen and laundry facilities. Bathroom was compact but well designed with quality fittings. Loved the location, just off funky Smith St, easy access to tram stop and city. The rooftop pool and spa are amazing. Only negative was that I had pre-advised of a midday arrival time and this was acknowledged and logged. When I arrived at 1230, tired from no sleep, the receptionist was not very helpful. I left my bag and went for a quick walk. I came back at 1pm and got a different receptionist who did the paperwork while waiting and rang through to housekeeping. The room was ready at 2pm on the dot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Verui!! Amazing location, easy check in/out instructions and beautifully clean room. On arrival there was a female guest abusing the man on reception for quite a while, however he handled the situation calmly and then approached us with such a soft, warm and welcoming manner. Extremely professional!!! We will be back!

The good: The rooftop view, pool, garden & jacuzzi! The best of any rooftop pool ive been to in the world so far 🥳 The windows on the rooms are double glazed & no outside noise gets in. Assortment of various pillows on the bed! Found one perfect for me! Bed was comfy. T2 tea is always good. The location is incredible! Top tier arty cool area! Excellent cafes nxt door & right next to Smith St & Gertrude St (voted coolest streets in the world previously). Suggestions for improvement: Definitely DONT get tired ppl who are holding all their luggage at checkin to not only process a surprise $100 deposit for incidentals PLUS fill out a form with all their info - that should have been taken already from online booking??? No tired person holding luggage wants this to be their first experience at a hotel. EVER. And for non friendly staff to be insist you have to do both to check in 😭🫠 not the best first impression. Customer service training for staff at front desk. I had a not great welcome when i checked in. And when i had queries i felt like i was annoying them. I bumped into people in the hall who were cleaning who were 100 times more friendly. Most doors seemed to not slam but there was a door on my level that slammed all night & morning so much it reverberated through the walls - room 315. Im not sure if this can be fixed? It woke me up a few times. …….. Absolutely worth it for the location & rooftop pool! ☀️🥳🙌
