I recommend this hotel, the air conditioner would be better but it is a good hotel, good location and breakfast is very good.

Smelly bathroom

The room is the size of a normal budget hotel, with sufficient heating and windows that cannot be opened. Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are not provided as is common in Europe, so you need to bring your own. The bathroom conditions are barely acceptable, not suitable for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder but suitable for those who want cost-effectiveness. There is a heated towel rack to dry clothes, which is very convenient. The front desk staff is very friendly, and there are postcards on the 0th floor for you to pick up. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and there is also an ALDI, so you don't have to worry about not having food. It is very close to tram 1/7. The fastest way to get there by train is to get off at Koln Messe/Deutz and take the above two trams (10 minutes each) to MoltkestraBe. For location, search the hotel name directly, don't search the address given by Ctrip, or you will be misled. It is within 30 minutes' walk to the center of Cologne, the cathedral, El-De Haus and other famous churches and museums. It is also suitable for city walks. Sometimes you can actually walk there while waiting for the tram.

The location is relatively good, the historic centre is about a 30-minute walk away, but there is also a metro stop nearby. Breakfast was complete for me, although the only drawback was that there was no hot milk. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
