"Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the elevator is tiny, full of vintage charm. The main issue was the bathroom: there's no floor drain, so after showering, the whole bathroom was flooded. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was decent. Environment: It's not far from the station and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby, which is convenient. Service: It was alright, nothing special."

"Built in 1999, the hotel has an older design but is well-functioning. We booked a room with a church view, which was spacious. However, the bathroom only offered a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, which doesn't quite meet the standards of similarly priced hotels in the city. A rather interesting feature is the grand lobby; at first glance, I thought it was a shopping mall! The piano bar on the first floor had a great atmosphere in the evening, until we realized the music seemed to be from a speaker and not actually played by a person, haha (or maybe the pianist had just finished their shift when we passed by)."

"Very nice and maintained small hotel. Breakfast was modest but there was everything you need. Personal at the reception and breakfast room very friendly, careful and helpful.  We will be happy to come back next year and hope it will also have a free double bed again. "Early check in for Marriot Bonvoy member. We were given a handicapped room which is quite “empty” and thus not feel so luxurious. Probably it was the only room available at that time. Affected by the fire alarm which was not so pleasant."

"I book this hotel every time I come to an exhibition. The hotel is very close to the exhibition center and you can walk there. The transportation is convenient and the environment is very good. There is a light rail outside the door that can go directly to the cathedral. It is very convenient"

"1. I booked a two-night stay and asked for an extra key card since my camera was charging in the room. However, the key card they gave me was only valid for one day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport). Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand. 2. As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs. However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face. I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam.' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure."

"It’s a lovely and convenient hotel. With everything located nearby, it allows visitors to easily get around the city and all the popular spots. It is especially just a short walk away from the new market and all the neighbouring restaurants, bars, and it is connected to the famous Cologne Cathedral and train stations. In a word, I am very satisfied with my three - day stay."

"The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room. The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times. The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk. It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours. In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it. The coffee provided was nice. The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area."
