Staff gave us conflicting information, empty promises, and failed to coordinate or resolve the issue. This constitutes a clear breach of the services promised at booking. Under consumer rights and hotel service regulations, we demand an immediate full refund for this stay. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to escalate the matter through legal and consumer protection channels. Unser Aufenthalt im Steigenberger Hotel Köln war völlig inakzeptabel. Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer war eiskalt und funktionierte nicht, trotz zahlreicher Meldungen an die Rezeption. Das Personal gab widersprüchliche Informationen, leere Versprechen und unternahm keinerlei Maßnahmen, das Problem zu beheben. Dies stellt eine klare Verletzung der bei der Buchung zugesicherten Leistungen dar. Nach Verbraucherrechten und Hotelservice-Vorschriften fordern wir die sofortige vollständige Rückerstattung. Sollte dies nicht erfolgen, sehen wir uns gezwungen, rechtliche und verbraucherschutzrechtliche Schritte einzuleiten."

Completely unacceptable for the price. 3-Reception closes at night. No one to assist, and there was no phone number provided in the room for help or room service. Total lack of basic hotel service. 4-The room had no amenities. No tea, no coffee, not even a kettle. The bathroom was cramped, and room service doesn’t even exist. 5-The swimming pool? It’s not in the building — it’s in another one nearby. Misleading and inconvenient. This place is a joke compared to what it advertises. Don’t waste your money. Don’t come here. There are far better options nearby"

Maybe I did it wrong, but that was the only downside."
