Manipati Hotel in Colombo, an old house built in 1906, was once the private residence of the Correa family. Stepping into the hotel, it feels like traveling through time and space, and deeply appreciates the texture polished by time. The hotel cleverly retains the original colonial architectural details and historical and cultural atmosphere. The hotel has only a few rooms, and my room was unexpectedly upgraded with a small garden. A chair and a small coffee table in the corner became a good place for me to read. In the morning, squirrels jumped between the trees, green parrots played on the white walls, and I enjoyed a quiet time in the swimming pool in front of the door. Thank you!

We recently stayed at this lovely boutique hotel and was completely blown away by the warmth and kindness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, the manager and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail in every corner. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a charming, What stood out the most, however, was the genuine hospitality. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic service, a friendly atmosphere, and a homely vibe, we couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Love from Denmark - family of 4

Maniumpathy was where my fiancé and I chose to have our registration ceremony. I was in contact with Koshita to organise the event from the start. The space is so perfect for a mini event, and the vibe/ architecture reflect Sri Lankan culture quite well. The food and the service was excellent at the event. The staff was very nice. Everything from planning to the special day was done well with help from Koshita. Definitely will recommend.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. This is our third time in Sri Lanka and by far the best hospitality and food!! For context we stayed at many five star hotels including notable Sri Lankan chains and the food was exquisite and staff so friendly and really went the extra mile! Couldn't recommend more!! Shout outs to Amila and Gayan - you rock.

The staff and the hotel were exceptional. Exceeded our expectations. Very professional staff, always on hand to assist and provide useful local tips and information. Great food and the accommodation was colonial and beautifully styled,, very comfortable and in a fantastic location. It is a special place and we will return.

The perfect place to recuperate after 24 hours of long haul travel. Elegant and luxurious without being stuffy. Staff are open and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast an absolute treat. An oasis in a vibrant-but-sometime-chaotic city. We loved it.

This hotel is small and intimate with gorgeously appointed rooms surrounding a courtyard and swimming pool. Originally a private house for 5 generations of family and now an elegant hotel. Staff are kind and friendly. Rooms are luxurious. Meals are taken in the garden and the menu is excellent. Couldn’t ask for more!
