The breakfast was also really delicious with a wide selection. The only downside is that there isn't much to do within walking distance. So you have to take a tuk-tuk to One Face Galle Mall or other attractions. However, there's also a Marino Mall you can walk to through the hotel."

"This is a fantastic boutique hotel situated just a bit further down Marine drive, away from the commotions of downtown Colombo in Dehiwala area. Its easily accessible by any transport and has the most amazing views from the suites. Although they don't offer any food with the rooms, there's two eateries downstairs with local and international cuisines. The rooms are so well designed and cozy that you would just want to stay in. But if you dont want to, everything is within reach including the beach right opposite. The only thing to be wary about is that they charge separately for stuff like early check in, late check out and luggage storage. Regardless, we are definitely coming back when we visit Colombo next time."

"Have stayed at this place in 2023 and Aug 2024. It is good for when going as a family vacation but not great if I was traveling there for work. I hope the management takes some time to improve the smaller details or provide a premium service offering where everything is ready to go. Positives: - Great location, close to transportation easily accessible to anywhere. - Staff are great, especially after tipping them they will look after you well! - Supermarket on ground floor, well stocked and convenient - Pool and restaurant on roof good quality and nice views Negatives: - No wifi, TV didn't work (because of poor internet) - Bedside tables not there, no power near the beds or near table to set up your laptop (for example). Hotel needs to keep power boards, extension chords to help with this. So was very difficult to get work done, had to organise it all myself"

"This hotel is a newly opened five-star Marriott hotel on the Colombo waterfront. Across the street is the Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, a five-star hotel with a striking exterior. After much deliberation, I chose this one on the beachfront. There's security at the porte-cochère, and a baggage check before entering the hotel. The ground floor is lined only with sofas, and the front lobby is above. The lobby lounge was very spacious and had a gorgeous atmosphere – truly impressive. I arrived early, so the front desk wasn't crowded, and they upgraded my room without any special comment. It was a room with round walls, which I love, and absolutely beautiful. The room's interior and furniture had a more classic feel than I expected, with a large column, a spacious bed, and a large television being particularly striking. The minibar was housed in a heavy, single-door cabinet, giving it a luxurious feel, and there were five bottles of mineral water. However, the minibar refrigerator is usually locked, so it was a shame that I couldn't chill the water. There was welcome fruit on the table in the foreground. Next to the entrance was a walk-in closet, and beyond that was a spacious bathroom. The bathtub was open, but I appreciated that the toilet and shower were properly separated. The beauty mirror was also unusually large. Best of all was the round terrace, which offered views overlooking the beach and the city. The hotel has two pools, both infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The gym was in a hard-to-find location, behind a spa-like reception area. The breakfast area was one of the largest I've seen in any hotel so far, with plenty of food, but it was crowded and difficult to find things, which was a bit tiring. Also, there was a long line at the live kitchen, and many people, including the staff taking orders, were cutting in line, which was disappointing. I will suggest to take the sea view room as city facing room has no view of city. You will also find lot many restaurants along the marine drive as well as A2 galle road."

Everything was organized so well and they made our celebration truly special. A special thank you to Manager Dammika. He was so nice, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout the entire event. He made sure everything we requested was arranged perfectly. He even stayed with us until our party finished and supported our decoration team as well. His dedication and kindness really meant a lot to us. The food was the highlight of the night. Honestly, I expected it to be good, but it was even better than we imagined. Every guest loved the food and many of them kept talking about how delicious it was. Huge thanks to the chef for the superb food! This place is also great value for money, and the rooftop space is perfect for parties and celebrations. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely come back again even just for the food! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable."
