"According to my booking, I was supposed to receive a king-size bed, but upon check-in, I was given two very small, separate beds instead. The hotel authorities failed to keep the commitment made at the time of booking. Staying and sleeping in these small beds was extremely difficult and uncomfortable for us. This kind of poor service and irresponsibility is completely unacceptable from a reputable hotel. In terms of customer service and maintaining commitments, this has been a thoroughly disappointing experience. I have no intention of ever staying at this hotel again in the future."

"What a start! Thanks to a Trip.com discount, we were able to book a superbly equipped apartment for 5 people at the Supun Arcade Residency – perfect for a relaxing first few days in Sri Lanka. The apartment truly had everything a traveler could wish for: its own kitchen, a large water tank, a refrigerator, and a washing machine! The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. On top of that (in the truest sense of the word): a rooftop pool with a fantastic view and a lovely restaurant with really good food. We had a fantastic time and can only recommend it!"

"Our first stay at this hotel and it was delightful. Quick and friendly check in, we were generously upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was very spacious with a seperate living room. It has a fully functional kitchen, with dishwasher and a washing machine for clothing. Balcony and well appointed room with coffee machine. The breakfast which was included in our room rate was delicious and had a broad range of options. We chose this hotel over the Shangri-La and were very happy with the choice and the hotel is much newer and therefore at the moment, in better condition. Swimming pool is large and receives lots of sunshine. I would stay here again."

"Facilities: It's an old hotel, but well-maintained, and the pool is quite nice. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Strong Christmas atmosphere, and there's always live performances in the lobby, which is amazing! In the morning after breakfast, I saw a young man playing the piano, and in the evening, there was a band playing. It was a great experience. Service: The doormen were all very welcoming. Five-star standard service!"

"Check in was quick and got the room quickly, room was a bit smaller but had all amenities needed but mini bar was empty. Had mocktails from their pool bar and they were very nice. Food was not the best, dinner buffet had limited options and had no flavour in any of the dishes. Breakfast buffet was okay compared to dinner. I wanted to check out around 12 and they kindly offered a late check out too. Thank you team. I would recommend this hotel but there I hope their food standards get improved."

"Booked through Agoda with a confirmed reservation and stated price. On arrival, the property initially claimed they had no booking, then later “found it.” They then said they do not accept card payments (not disclosed during booking) and attempted to charge a different amount than what was confirmed. The manager, who was contacted by phone, suggested canceling the booking instead of resolving the issue and was dismissive during the conversation, which delayed check-in unnecessarily. The room itself was clean and seemed fairly new, which is a positive. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor management, lack of transparency, and an unprofessional check-in process. Travelers should be cautious and ensure all details are confirmed clearly before arrival."
