My wife and I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, but this is my first review. Vista Lago Di Como truly exceeded our expectations. Christina and Elisa went above and beyond to make our special occasion as memorable as possible from the time we checked in until the time we sadly checked out. The Corner Jr. Suite was impressive with stunning views of Lake Como and the Plaza, every amenity possible and a spa shower that will absolutely transport you, especially after dealing with the ferry lines. It is in a convenient location to walk through beautiful Como, visit shops and eat restaurants on or off the lake. A night cap at the Infinity Bar, which overlooks the lake, is the perfect way to end your day at Lago di Como!

This hotel and its staff are magnificent. Part of the SLH group our expectations were high and not to be disappointed. We arrived by car from Florence and were greeted by Alberto the hotel concierge/butler who was most welcoming. The room we were given (200) was a Premium King room with a most spacious and beautifully appointed room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a pillow menu to choose a selection to suit. The bathroom was large with a great shower and luxurious bath. We were given many welcome treats and my wife had a birthday for which the hotel gave a beautiful cake and special wishes. The hotel is well positioned to explore the Como area right near the ferry terminal, and easy walk to all of the Como shops and restaurants. We took a tour offered by the hotel to visit Bellano and some of the less common tourist sights, Alberto accompanied us and was our guide and we had a very luxurious chauffeur. We visited the Carozzi cheese factory which was a highlight. We stayed four nights and every moment we were made to feel like important guests. We dined at the Sottovoce restaurant which was definitely worthy of its Michelin star, and the best meal we have had in over 3 weeks of traveling. Would recommend this hotel as 5+ stars Luxe, remembering that it is a small hotel and does not have facilities that might be expected in a large 5* hotel.
