Location is central - can walk from station and a short walk to ferry. Breakfast is continental style (no hot food). The room itself was good - nice modern bathroom, comfortable bed, all very clean and well maintained. I had room 111 with the window opening onto an internal walkway and small outdoor sitting area. To get any ventilation, you had to open the only window onto this internal area. The other issue was lots of noise from the restaurant kitchen - the noise was funnelled up from below via a narrow staircase that was opposite my room door. So noise from dinner service & clearing up afterwards was a constant every night. Even worse was being woken at 12:30am on two of my four nights stay by loud banging of pots on one night and a heated argument the other night. I think the hotel needs to install a door or something on that staircase to block the restaurant noise as that degree of noise, especially around midnight, is unacceptable for guests.

We stayed for two nights and had a pleasant stay. Room 104 was comfortable and very clean. It looks like recently renovated. The staff is great, the sweet pastry is amazing, made by Angelo. Tripadviser asks me to type 200 characters, so I type this hehe. I said it all :)

My parents and I decided to take a trip to Italy and go to the Italian grand prix, our hotel being included in our package. I am so fortunate we ended up staying here. This quaint hotel is perfectly located tucked away in a cosy square in Como. The hotel is family run and theres something about that makes the stay so much more enjoyable. The staff were incredible always having the time for us or our needs. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome from night one. They were all amazing!! The rooms themselves were always clean and the facilities were top notch and we came across no issues. The hotels restaurant was also amazing, breakfast was always fresh and even in the morning the staff greeted us with a smile!! Then in the evening the food was not only well priced but it was amazing. Excellent service and great food, I could recommend any dish!! Mario (a staff member here) always made our nights great with his hospitality and him just being genuinely fun and likeable. I will definitely be returning and if you are thinking of coming near this side of Italy, I would definitely recommend here!!

We are a family of three and have just returned from a four night stay in Como , visiting for the Monza Grand Prix. What a wonderful weekend in a beautiful part of the world and our stay was genuinely enhanced staying at this lovely hotel!! The owners are a lovely couple and are actively involved in the day to day running of the hotel. They cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. The place is quaint, extremely clean and everything is well presented. Our room was on it's own on the third floor which was great, even having it's own bistro table and chairs on the small tiled open corridor to sit out and enjoy a coffee/etc. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the linen and towels quality. Breakfast was more than adequate with cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, eggs, toast, juices, etc and coffee made to order and lovely fresh pastries. We ate at their restaurant here a lot for dinner, mainly as we were tired in the evenings after long days activities and you can just step out of the hotel and dine in the balmy open air in a wonderfully calm atmospheric square, with great attentive staff. The food was really good, especially their pizzas and there is a good selection of wines and everything was very reasonably priced considering the locality. Lots of other bars and restaurants a short walk away if required, but we felt why bother. Would certainly recommend and confident we will return. Grazie mille

Very clean, very good food, staff and boss wonderful. They went out of their way to help us plan our visits. We stayed for a week and the hotel made our holiday special. If we go to Como again we will definitely stop here.It is also in a great area to explore Como.

Loved our stay in this family hotel run by Sara, Andrea, and Paula. Our room was large and beautifully renovated with a large bathroom and quality towels and quality sheets on the large bed. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning was playing up, but the staff couldn't do enough for us and promptly brought us up a pedestal fan. The breakfast was ample and fresh every morning. Coffee was made fresh and was delicious. Easy walk to the lake and ferries as well as to the park and funicular. Shops, cafes and restaurants all near by. The restaurant of an evening served quality food and was very busy most evenings. Our waiter, Mario, especially was fun, attentive, hardworking, and efficient. Made our evening there memorable. In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed 4 nights at this quaint hotel. Sara the owner and her husband, plus all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms 113 and 114 look out onto the small square, while 111 and 112 look onto the internal patio with a few table and chairs just for guests. Internal rooms quieter if that is more important to you than a nice view. All rooms have been updated (April 2022) and are spotless and comfortable. Room 113 has a full shower, and 114 a smaller shower (think cruise ship)...both bathrooms are a good size. Location is close to the lake, funicular, boat tour dock, and literally hundreds of great restaurants. Highly recommend this host family owned hotel.

Warm, welcoming owner. Hotel has been renovated. Room was quiet, spacious, modern, huge bathroom, spotless. Comfortable bed, thick towels. Air conditioned. Located within walking distance to Duomo, train stations and surrounded by restaurants and shops. Delightful stay.
