This hotel seems like it may have been nice in the past but is now in need of a serious upgrade. The rooms are alright, though the towels are more grey than white, the bedding is frayed, and there are plenty of bumps and scuffs on the walls. There was a large gap between the door and the frame to the balcony. At least the air conditioning worked well. The service in this hotel can be quite variable. Some staff members are solid and helpful, others not so much. For example, it took 3 requests and approximately one hour to get 2 beach towels for the pool. Another time we had a question for the front desk. The gentleman kept watching videos on his phone at full volume, while asking us to repeat the request multiple times. The hotel is by the port/industrial area, so not a good location if you want to walk around and explore Conakry.

Clean hotel. Good value for money, decent service, very welcoming staff. Encouragement in these difficult times, Conakry has been complicated since the fuel depot explosion in December.
