Beautiful hotel, staff very welcoming, loads for children to do nice walk to the beach, not far from the shops, loads of room in the apartment for everyone even when single bed is out, nice little shop onsite, lots of sun beds around each pool so no need to stress

The worst hotel in Cyprus ! Awful food and really dirty kitchen and rooms! The cleaner clean the toilet first and with the same cloth she wipe all the bathroom !!!! Can you believe that ? I complain on the reception they didn’t even say sorry ! They been upset to me because I said that ! The same cheapest food all the time ! Thay have only one type of fish but not from their sea but from Vietnam farms !!!! Avoid this hotel ! Never will go back there

All in all this holiday was what I expected. Definitely not a 4 star. The hotel is clean and the staff are mostly polite and helpful. My daughter and I went in October and it felt like we were at end of season. The pool was absolutely freezing, not heated at all. The kids pool is even colder than the main pool. The indoor pool and Aphrodite pool do not seem to get used at all, which is a waste as they are very pretty. Also, both are cold as well, as is the jacuzzi?? There are 4 water slides and one wasn’t working the whole time we were there (also cold). There are supposedly spa facilities, but this area of the hotel seemed to be deserted. I didn’t see anyone in there at all. The gym is a small room with a running machine, bike and a few weights- not really a gym I would say. It is down a hill. Although we didn’t see this as an issue, after a few days of going up and down it seemed to get worse! The bus stops at the top of the hill to take you to Pafos which is lovely. There is a shopping centre not far and the marina is about a 30 minute bus journey. The beach is not really accessible by the hotel. Although it is very close it is very stony and we were not really able to get to the sea. A 15 minute walk will get you to the sandy beach of coral bay (which is well worth it). You can also get the bus (which you may need to after walking up the big hill). The food was edible. Different things were served every day, but after a couple of days we ate out in the evenings. The food by the pool is fine during the day. The entertainment was basically a kids disco every day (same time, same music). A bingo game (paid for), and then 45 minute las of something else (quiz, parrot show, karaoke) nothing very entertaining if I’m honest. Also extremely loud if you are situated near the reception of the hotel. The positives: Hotel was clean Room was spacious and clean with all necessary facilities Maid service came daily Pool and bar staff were great The negatives: Cold pool The big hill

Don’t ignore reviews, part refurbished or not this place needs a huge overhaul (it could be fantastic). When booking we were told 4 star, but hire staff on reception said 1 star, internet searches say both so what is it?? I have never seen so many complaining daily at a hotel, numerous health hazards, slimy pool edges, film on pool/lazy river, broken loungers, tables, umbrellas, all sat in stagnant water, over flowing bins causing a lot of wasps/ants, life guards on water park, rarely?? The filthy surroundings were not acceptable!! Now for the ant infested rooms, floor/walls covered in soot daily from the kitchen chimneys ruining new clothes, blood stained mattresses, ripped towels, rotten doors, broken showers & filthy sinks that weren’t even stuck down (they moved in the slime underneath). Food was cold & constantly had maintenance staff at the Bain Marie’s, only good part was fresh pancakes for breakfast & the lovely lady making them, the rest was a mish mash of random items from other sittings thrown together. Drinks were like syrup, alcohol was cheap & nasty, I’ve never been so sober after 6 cocktails!! overall very poor!! On arrival we were dropped off at a steep hill in the dark, this wasn’t mentioned on the booking, so if you have walking difficulties avoid, or you could pay €10/12 a day to have a taxi take you 3 mins to the top. I could go on for ages with more but all I will say is take advice & avoid, don’t be fooled by the nice photos of the new rooms (that we were told by other guests, that they were also full of ants & thrown together to look good, until you looked into detail)

Very lovely hotel, friendly staff!! Specially outdoor bartenders. Was full inclusive, large range of cocktails, beers, soft drinks and food! Food was always hot, highly reccomend food from the pool bar especially the chicken gyros! . Room was cleaned every 2 days which was fine as we aren’t messy people. 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to the gift shops, very polite people all around, able to rent cars, buggies etc, harbour is a 10 minute bus ride and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel if that, has own privacy shingle beach or the lovely beach has wifi is about a 15 minute walk. Only downfall is the beds wasn’t the comfiest but was tired from the day time activities, receptionist was very helpful and we was offered another pillow to help us. The last day of the hotel at the bottom of the stairs from our room a small nest of ants had appeared, hotel sorted this once informed. Only small problem is hotel is location on a hill and has a fair few stairs so wouldn’t be suitable for those with limited mobility. Overall highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

Recent reviews of this hotel prior to our holiday had us questioning our choice. However, once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Room was lovely and clean. Note in the room clearly states how frequently the room will be cleaned and towels/bedding changed. You wouldn’t change your towels or bedding daily at home, no need for them to be changed daily on holiday. Saw some negative comments about serving staff prior to holiday. All staff were polite and friendly and extremely hard working, only rudeness I saw was from guests. Just because it is all inclusive, doesn’t mean you can bark your drinks orders at the staff without a please or thank you. Shout out to one of the guys at the pool side bar who made my 10 year feel special by remembering her favourite slushie flavour. Also one of the table clearers who seemed to work all hours yet always had time for a chat and a friendly word. Kids evening entrainment is the same 7 songs, in the same order, every single night. (Except Wednesdays). However my 2 primary school aged children loved it. Negative comments - not enough sun loungers. Seems some people put towels out and leave them out all week. Queues for the water park sun loungers started at 8.45, opens at 10. But I did this queue one morning and it was worth it as my children loved the water park. You can access it from the main pool. Younger life guards are on their phones most the day, seem to then wake up at 4 and for the last hour interact with guests and have fun at the top of the slides, water park closes at 6pm. On the Friday everything was switched off and we were asked to leave just gone 5. One older lifeguard is much more attentive at the main pool and does enforce the rules. Not enough tables for the evening meals, except on a Wednesday when there is no entertainment. Recommendations - if you fancy a meal off site, highly recommend booking a table (essential) at Samisen Japanese restaurant towards the end of coral bay *****. You sit around the hot grill whilst the chefs puts on a show, suitable for families, You need an inflatable to ride the lazy river and go on the green slide. Whilst there are a handful of hotel rings, recommend buying your own. The on-site supermarket sells them. Recommend walking up to coral bay ***** and the first supermarket you come to (Kings) sells them slightly cheaper and will inflate them for you. Bought some snorkels there as well, allowed us to open packaging in the shop to ensure they fitted.

Waterslides and lazy river kept the kids entertained. Not much in the form of daily entertainment. Night time entertainment not too bad. Food not too bad, but not loads of choice. Rubbish left lying around the hotel, bins in room not changed very often. Dirty towels in rooms. A bit run down. Maybe short staffed as bins throughout the hotel were overflowing. Wouldn't return.

Well let me start by saying don't believe all you read on here. We turned up late at night and when we walked in we gulped with terror. The next morning when we woke it was like we had imagined, loud dirty guests drunk and being complete louts in the bar. Dirty mess everywhere and being refused a beer as it was after 11pm. But it did happen as some guests are like that, loud and rude. Unfortunately from the UK it seems. Once they left on our first day it was how it should have been. We made some good friends ond avoided the not so good. Food was average but even a fussy eater like our son ate well. Pools and water slides were great. Life guards always keeping a watchful eye. Volley ball, water polo darts and boules were all good fun. The entertainment team keep you busy, although water polo was a bit rough but we loved it. Beach bar was good as well as the pool side snack bar. Entertainment at night was good and bingo was fun. Drinks are in large measurements which was a great bonus. Room cleaning was the only let down as we had to ask 3 times for a clean but after that it was adequately managed. Hence only 4 * Our overall experience was pleasantly surprised so I would recommend.

I can honestly say if your looking at this hotel to book I would recommend. The food is ok for it's rating. Typical All inclusive.... Breakfast normal offerings, lunch plenty indoor or a selection at Snack Bar! Dinner variation, there is something to choose from... Pools, slides, lazy river amazing, my boys loved it! 12 & 14yrs Beach not great, so if your looking for a sandy beach, its a bus journey 10 mins or just further along. All games throughout the day kept myself, hubbie, & two boys thoroughly entertained. Particularly the Water Polo! Evening entertainment average but the staff try their best. Staff, so friendly, hard working & all about pleasing the guests. I felt that they were more than accomodating working hard in the heat serving constantly & trying there best to accommodate everyone. It's not 5* I would say 3* Only Complaint I had to go up 3 times one day to ask for a room clean! That really annoyed me... I asked for sheets & towels in the end I sorted it myself as the cleaners clearly had finished for the day! So bed making was not on my agenda for a holiday!! There were no Ants, no Flies & toilets ok around pool. We did however have to get up early in the morning to secure a lounger.(Not the hotels fault)I was ok for 7 days, no more. I felt welcomed Aquasol Hotel Village. Cleaning of the room was a let down for us, I did collect sheets myself from reception after 4 reminders that our room needed sorting as our son had had a nose bleed. Drinks not the best but something for someone
