Corryong Hotel Motel

Very clean and quiet. My son and 1 stayed 2 nights. We had lunch and dinner both nights and stayed back for drinks and karaoke. Only disappointment was there was only 1 bed and description said 2 beds. We even put it in as a comment but wasnt told about there being only 1 bed until we arrived. Was offered upgrade that would have been costly. Asked to ckeck out at 12PM but could only get 11AM but thats ok.

An impromptu overnight stop after planning to get to Omeo, this is a great bike friendly place to stop. Great meals and drinks with accommodation behind the pub, this is worth a visit. Stunning views behind the pub and close to town. This will be a stop for us in future. Pete the publican is very accommodating.

I really wanted to like this place more. The back verandah that looks towards the mountains is a gorgeous spot however all the signs about what you can and can't do was a bit offputting. I get that pets aren't allowed and kids shouldn't draw on the floor with crayons (what sort of parents need to be told that??!!) but all the signage killed the vibe a bit. Inside, the staff are friendly but the kitchen staff seem a bit overrun, even on a quiet night. Our food was cold. Not just lukewarm, but in the case of the gravy, actually cold. Even after we asked for the jug to be popped in the microwave it came back not much warmer. The food was okay. Not great, not offensive. The place could do with a bit of a clean up. Lots of cobwebs and the stage area with the sheets thrown over it and cables taped to the walls looks just plain depressing.

This was the perfect stopover during our road trip through the NSW high country. The motel is within east walking distance to all the town amenities and takeaway. The pub serves solid food fare by cherry, helpful staff. Basic toast/cereal breakfast was included.

We went here for lunch. The burger I had was mostly crust and crumb and very little chicken. A shame as the rest was good. Very good beer list on tap which drags it up to a 4 with the views. But if it didn’t have this would have been a 2 to 3. I wouldn’t make the trip here again as we found a better pub closer

After a long day's drive, arriving here was the perfect end to the day. I declare the steak burger the best I have eaten. Unfortunately it tumbled off my plate when I was moving to the outdoor seating area, with also arguably the best pub view in Australia. Fellow diners let the kitchen staff know, as I was too embarrassed to say anything. They easily made me another and it tasted as good as it looked. Vale original burger, your replacement was worth the wait. Steak was flavourful and tender, washed down with a Great Northern Zero.
