就在雙廊古鎮入口處不遠，往下步行幾百米就是南詔風情島（玉幾島）擺渡船的渡口，渡口旁邊繼續往裡麪走可以到楊麗萍老師的太陽宮去參觀，記得先預約。太陽宮另外一側是古炮台，但是沒有炮。古鎮門口就有租車的，可以租電馬兒環遊洱海，也可以租拉風的敞篷跑車裝13，從這開車去大理古城和三塔要1個多小時，也方便。客棧有外陽台，可以站在上面對看洱海，客棧下面的步行街有賣特色油炸蟲子的，就看你敢不敢吃，還有特色烤豬肉。就是每天雙廊堵車堵得滂屁臭。
