Even though they didn’t really speak English, they still made a great effort to assist us whenever we needed help. Really appreciate their patience and hospitality! 🙌🏻 For Muslim travellers, halal food is available around the area, but most halal restaurants are not within walking distance. You’ll need to take a DiDi to get to them, so it’s something to keep in mind when choosing this hotel. Other than that, the view from the hotel is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel! 👍🏻"

We received complimentary snacks upon check-in and recommendations for local dining and entertainment. Coffee was available in the afternoon. Environment: I thought I had booked a hotel, but it turned out to be a guesthouse, even though I searched under the 'hotel' category. It differed from my expectations. The room decor wasn't quite like the photos; specifically, it lacked decorative wall art, the wooden furniture had mismatched colors, and there were water stains on the bathroom glass. It didn't really feel like a place that opened in 2024. Facilities: There's a washing machine available on the rooftop. The room lacked a desk, which was a bit inconvenient. A small tea table and two cushions on the bay window would be a nice addition. Surroundings: It's not particularly close or far from the ancient city and Erhai Lake. I'd recommend renting an electric scooter, otherwise, walking back and forth can be quite tiring. The picture shows the sunrise from the rooftop in the morning."

"✨ Highly recommend! Dali Rismann Luoxi Seaview Hotel is absolutely the best hidden gem in Shuanglang! The location is superb, right at the north entrance of Shuanglang Ancient Town. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Erhai Ecological Corridor, and there's a free parking lot for those driving, which is incredibly convenient. The room boasts an unbeatable 180° sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake directly. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from bed, and chase the orange sunset from the balcony in the evening – it's breathtakingly beautiful. The entire room is smart, with Xiao Du voice control, a Dyson hairdryer, a smart toilet, and L'Occitane toiletries. Every detail is perfect. The service is incredibly thoughtful. Our one-on-one butler, Shirley, was online throughout our stay. We received a complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in and warm sweet soup late at night. The public areas are strictly non-smoking, creating a tranquil and comfortable environment. It's incredibly photogenic here; the glass walkway cafe and sea view terrace offer wallpaper-worthy shots at every turn. You can also borrow ethnic costumes for free. Staying here is truly the only way to experience Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake properly! It's already on my list for a second visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends!"

Ideal State is built on a mountain, making walking a bit challenging, but the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, easily the best hotel breakfast I had on this trip. The cliffside restaurant offers breathtaking views, perfect for photos. Butler A-Jun provided outstanding service and can even arrange custom outdoor barbecues. The summer weather here is pleasantly cool and comfortable, making it an ideal escape. I highly recommend staying here."

"After much deliberation, I finally settled on this guesthouse! As we were staying for three consecutive nights, they offered a complimentary airport transfer (pick-up or drop-off), which was incredibly convenient! To our pleasant surprise, the owner himself came to pick us up. He also shared insights into Dali's history and recommended local delicacies. From the moment we booked, they were incredibly responsive. Before check-in, they proactively sent detailed directions and a local food guide. Upon arrival, they even helped with our luggage, chatted with us like friends, and suggested off-the-beaten-path activities. The location is absolutely fantastic: taxis are readily available, it's very close to Dali University, and getting to the Cangshan Cableway is a breeze! Perched on higher ground, the guesthouse offers panoramic views of Dali from its rooftop! Breakfast was also excellent and very healthy! All in all, this is the most 'home-like' guesthouse I've ever experienced. Every detail, the service, and the ambiance were perfect! I've already highly recommended it to all my friends, and I definitely plan to return on my next visit!"
