"This hotel is great! The room looks exactly like the pictures online. The location is super convenient for getting around. They even rent out electric scooters on-site, and the staff are really helpful with directions. As someone from Malaysia who isn't familiar with the area, renting a scooter and following their explanations and maps was no problem at all 😂. They also offer a shuttle service to Lijiang, which is really cost-effective and convenient. They pick you up right at the entrance. You can ask the friendly guys at the front desk – it's truly a one-stop service! 👍🙏 💰 Fair price ✅ 💰 Scooter rental, super cheap ✅ Clean and tidy environment ✅"

"Seriously recommend this hotel if you're coming to Dali! The location is fantastic, super close to Dali Station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, really setting a great vibe. The room hygiene is impeccable, spotless and refreshing. All the facilities are complete and functional, making for a very pleasant stay. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, always responding promptly to any needs. Overall, the experience was perfect, and the value for money is exceptional. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Dali!"

"I first heard about this place on Instagram and thought it was so beautiful. Its incredible structure is just as gorgeous when you see it in person. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. It was so cool because they had a machine that translates different languages depending on what you speak. This was the first time I’d ever seen anything like it and found it very helpful as I don’t speak Mandarin. Breakfast isn’t included but you can purchase their set meals for 37 yuan and have it while looking out at the beautiful courtyard. If you need train station transfer, you can easily ask for it for 80 yuan per way which made my check in and check out process smooth. They also allow you to try on their cultural costumes for free. If you need hair, makeup and photography services than it’s 499 yuan. As a solo traveler, I decided to try it out. They were very nice, however I definitely struggled with the very white makeup since I myself am very tanned. In their defense they did their best with trying to give me something darker and in the makeup room it seemed fine. But with the different lighting outside and the camera flash, when I got my pictures back I basically had a ghost face 😞 The foundation also wasn’t applied to my neck and arms, so it was very apparent. I’ve asked the photographer to help standardize my skin so hopefully that helps whenever it’s done. You receive a total of 9 retouches photos as part of the package. However, if you prefer to do your own makeup or are traveling with others then they can take pictures for you instead. The place is very convenient for finding restaurants and if you’re primary goal is the visit the old town. It’s very close by, so I was able to explore easily and then return to the hotel for breaks when needed. Lastly, you can use their laundry machines and get laundry pellets for free. Ideally this is great. But I will say the drying part is dreadful. The instructions say to do the 2/3 rule. However, even when I followed and put a small batch of clothes in it never dried. I tried once for 1.5 hours, then again for another hour, and still nothing. That was probably the only real part that was frustrating."

"✨ Five-star review! A hidden gem of a quiet guesthouse in Dali Ancient City, incredible value for money! ✅ Environment: Secluded yet central, surrounded by lush greenery, tranquil and elegant. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, making it relaxing and rejuvenating. ✅ Hygiene: The room was spotless, fully equipped, and of high quality. I felt safe and comfortable staying here. ✅ Location: Right in the heart of the ancient city, within walking distance to all attractions. Super convenient for getting around, and the quiet yet central location is a huge plus. ✅ Service: The owner was warm and attentive, provided detailed tips, and was always ready to help. "The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked us up from the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Our room was spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant smells. The first floor of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! 😍 And the rooftop patio is amazing – you can relax on the swing, gaze at Cangshan Mountain in the distance, and admire the old town. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing! I highly recommend booking here! It's super close to the South Gate of the old town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and experiencing the night market. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B! It was definitely the most satisfying and comfortable place we stayed during our entire trip! The host was incredibly warm and kind, even providing an electric scooter for free, which made getting around so convenient. They were exceptionally thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. The room had a gentle, healing minimalist wood style, with excellent decor quality. It was clean, tidy, and very tasteful, with every corner feeling cozy and the ambiance being perfect. On the fourth floor, you can do laundry and also visit the small rooftop for some great photos. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. As they say, when I go back to work, I'm not working, I'm earning money for my next trip to Dali. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"Arrived quite late, but check-in was smooth. Had dinner at the hotel, making use of their self-service rice noodles. The room was spacious and very clean, and the small balcony was a pleasant touch. A huge plus was how quiet the room was; the only noise was the wind coming in because I'd left the balcony door open. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy these past few days, so I missed out on the sunrise, which I heard is incredibly beautiful. Breakfast offered a great variety and everything tasted delicious. Going around 8 AM meant fewer people, making for a very pleasant experience and none of the usual crowds you'd expect during a May Day holiday. My kids participated in the hotel's afternoon kite painting and food street activities and had so much fun they didn't even want to leave for dinner."
