This is the best hotel in our long trip to Yunnan. There are so many things I need to praise about this hotel. Fantastic and friendly services! Just stand in front of the hotel, the staffs would help you move your luggages inside. When we was about to check out, they helped us with the luggages too. They recommended where to go and eat, and even helped us rent a car to go around Erhai and visited the ancient towns along the way. The room was clean with a hot water dispenser, clothes dryer and good view to the garden. We were welcomed with fruits and rose biscuits. The garden is extremely beautiful and zen. We could relax and even took a peaceful afternoon nap there. Our child enjoyed playing with the cats and dog. The rooftop has wonderful view of Dali's mountains and Erhai. This is where we love to spend our early morning to admire sunrise. The owner was very friendly, invited us to have tea with him, introduced us about Yunnan, Dali and the specialties and we had a good chat. He even made sure that we had good and full breakfast everyday. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Dali.

This hotel is lovely. The beautifull building is located in the heart of the hilos up old town, architecture is a mix of old and modern style, with nice garden and a lot of friendly cats. Staff is always friendly and available, and rooms are nice and minimal, even if some storage space more should be great. I will come back for sure if i can. There are a lot of free amenities, even if everything is wrapped in plastic bags, maybe should be considered an eco-friendly alternative. Over all, a five stars experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Dali. They have 14 beautiful and very friendly cats, which made the experience even more special. The hotel accepts foreign passports, and the owner speaks English, which made communication and check-in very easy. Highly recommend for cat lovers and international travelers!

An absolute pleasure from the moment we set foot onto the quaint, cosy guesthouse grounds to the warm & impeccable service with complimentary Chinese tea (served both in-room and in the adjacent tea room), cute animal friends (3-4 cats & corgi) and thoughtful, comprehensive amenities conveniently provided in-room for guests' direct access. Really appreciated the water dispenser in-room that provided hot water on demand, complimentary drinking water, fruits & local flower biscuits. Every detail in terms of interior decor and the owner's hospitality really made for the best stay in our 10-day trip in Yunnan!!

Very cosy environment with lots of animals running around. Helped us to carry our luggages during check-in and check-out. We were given a room with the view of cangshan which was very nice. Staffs are very friendly and helpful when you have any questions. Would come back here again when I have the chance to visit Dali in the future.

I loved this place so much, I kept extending my stay and wish I could stay longer. The rooms are in an old courtyard and building with a beautiful garden and tearoom. The owner and staff are all very nice and willing to help with anything you need. One night I had a great chat with them as well over very nice tea.
You’ll read the other reviews about the cats - they are well kept and very active and cute!
