ARANYA Resort Hotel

Great service! Room had a good view of the Erhai Lake. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Thank you Kevin for his help recommending places to visit and booking our trip to the high speed train station. He has always been in contact over WeChat checking up on us. Really appreciate his help. The hotel has a great restaurant within its premises. Recommended to give it a try.

This hotel is the one of the best hotels we stayed in China, very clean room, quiet location, lovely staffs and great restaurant just downstairs. They provided the afternoon tea, we ordered orange juice, it was pure squeezed orange juice, kids really loved it! And because it is not very crowded hotel, you can avoid loads of smoking people, so it is perfect place to stay with family!

We had an amazing experience staying at Aranya Hotel in Dali! The highlight of the property is definitely the breathtaking sea view—it's absolutely stunning. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The host provided helpful recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the attractions. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Dali with an incredible sea view. can't wait to return

Perfect place to unwind in beautiful Dali. I’m a frequent traveller but this is the best service O’ve ever received. Peter was our host and he was very helpful with restaurant and car bookings. He was extremely patient and acceded to all our change request. The room is beautiful and has an unblocked view of the Erhai lake. Will highly recommend the stay and look forward to be back

This boutique hotel is located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. All rooms have a large balcony with panoramic views of the Erhai Lake and Dali city. The amenities are excellent. Rooms are very clean and beautifully furnished with a modern touch. They offer a set menu of breakfast with two options: Chinese or western. Both are delicious. One can order additional portions of anything on the menu for free. The breakfast comes with multiple coffee options. There is an on-site restaurant offering delicious Thai style food for lunch and dinner. Staff members are super friendly and helpful. They offer free airport or train station pickup and drop offs. Also help guests arrange rental cars, photography sessions, etc. They helped us hire a car and driver, which was an excellent way to do a day-trip around the Erhai Lake. One thing to note is that I speak Chinese and I’m handy with using Chinese ride hailing apps. Since the hotel is located on the top of a hill, I would recommend taking a taxi or hail a ride going back (there is a shortcut going down the hill to the lake front). My family stayed for five nights at Aranya and very much enjoyed it. Would definitely want to stay there again on our next trip to Dali. The hotel is situated toward the top of a hill, which gives and excellent view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Being that the terrace faces the sea, the room is private as can be due to the inability for others to look inside. Everything was extremely clean and all staff members were especially helpful. This was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in in as far back as one can remember! Not only would we stay here again, but are also looking forward to our next visit here.
