I came here for a personal trip and overall I am very satisfied with the breakfast. There are many types of breakfast and the service is attentive. The front desk is very enthusiastic and answers all questions. The cleaning aunt is meticulous and responsible. The location of the hotel is also very good. As advertised, the hotel is close to Xi'an Road. It takes about 5 to 8 minutes to walk from the subway station. The dual subway lines cover Zhoushuizi Airport and Dalian North Railway Station as well as major urban attractions, which is very convenient. Finally, if I have to make some suggestions, I think there are two points: first, the TV resolution is slightly behind in 2025, and second, there seems to be no soap in the bathroom, which caused me a little trouble. The room is OK, except that the hot water for showering is not stable, sometimes hot and sometimes cold, and the location of the hotel is not very convenient for travel. The parking area in front of the hotel is relatively spacious and you can park at will. In Dalian, this parking is really possible. In fact, it can't be regarded as a hotel. The little brother at the front desk said that the whole hotel has 14 rooms. The room is small and can't walk away. The next morning, I woke up and found a big meat bug on the toilet floor. I also recorded a video and I was scared to death. The sanitation in the house was not very clean. Many things were stained.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Exit D of 西安路(Xianlu) Station, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to the airport. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a nightclub and a street lined with food stalls mainly frequented by locals. It gets lively at night. I stayed in a room facing the street, but since it was on the 6th floor, the noise from outside wasn’t too bothersome. However, the soundproofing between rooms isn’t great. I could hear sounds from neighboring rooms. The shower and toilet facilities are basic. Note that in some rooms, the bathroom isn’t fully separated from the rest of the space. Two 500ml bottles of water were provided and replenished daily. Towels were replaced during daily cleaning, but it seemed like the sheets weren’t changed though that might be different for longer stays. There’s no fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store things in their staff refrigerator if needed. Foreigners can stay here without any issues. During my 3-night stay, there was a different staff member at the front desk each day, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They actively assisted me when I had any issues, and I’m really grateful for that. Even if you don’t speak Chinese, using a translation app works fine. For basic things like check-in and check-out, you won’t need Chinese at all.

This time I came to Dalian and stayed at Shizhou Hotel. The lobby environment is very clean, the color of the lobby lights and the background music are very comfortable, the service at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, the check-in is fast and professional, the geographical location of the hotel is really very superior, it is very convenient to go anywhere around, and it is very close to the subway station, so there is no need to call a car or take a taxi to go anywhere! There is also a century-old tram at the door. When checking in, I was given a detailed introduction to the breakfast and bathing time. The sanitation of the room is also very clean, the room space is large enough, the mattress is really comfortable, it is a 0-pressure mattress, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hot water for bathing is also very powerful! The breakfast is very rich and there are many choices, including milk and bread. It is very comfortable to drink a bowl of hot porridge, and there are various hot dishes. When checking out, the front desk lady kindly sent us to the door, and the security guard at the door helped us put our luggage in the car. I like the service of Shizhou Yunshui!

The first time I came to Dalian, I chose this hotel in the city center because of the high online rating and very close to the city center. The consequences of arriving did not disappoint me, the decoration was very new, and the hotel facilities were all available. The big bed is very comfortable. There is a seafood shop next to it, and Yuhua Market can buy seafood and fruit. I especially want to mention here that the beautiful lady surnamed Cai at the front desk is really very good. I am not familiar with the place of my life for the first time. She recommended me where to eat seafood and where to buy specialties, so that I can be warmed by a foreigner. There is also the aunt who makes noodles and rice noodles in the restaurant. She patiently told me to eat more shrimp skin to supplement calcium, and told me what kind of shrimp skin to buy. This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I thought I would read the reviews and read how good the front desk reception was. But when I checked in, it was not as good as everyone said. There was no excessive greeting or other practices. It was very ordinary. The only thing was that the hotel was cleaner and the room was smaller. The front desk asked the check-in staff to scan the code to help her do the task. I was impressed. The room was not very soundproof. The breakfast was also so-so. There were probably a few varieties of drinks, and the Chinese breakfast was about 10 or 20 kinds. There was no breakfast coupons given by the front desk as everyone said. These were all coupons I bought with my own money. The only good thing about staying in this hotel is that the room is clean.

I stayed at the hotel I chose many years ago to get some peace and quiet in the bustling downtown area. The front desk service was very good and helped with room selection. For sleeping reasons, I asked for an extra pillow. Breakfast was delivered to the room.
