Hotels in Jiaju Tibetan Village, Danba

We stayed for two nights and the view from the room is stunning. The tibetan-styled decoration is amazing and makes all the difference, but there were also a few downsides which I have to mention. - For someone that does not speak Chinese, it is very hard to find. So we will write here how we did: from Tagong we took a shared vehicle to Bamei. From there, we took another shared vechicle to Danba, and from Danba, there are rural shared vehicles that will take you to Jiaju. I attach the image of the road sign where you need to get off. There is an entry fee to Jiaju town. - Regarding this rural vehicle, comes the biggest disappointment of our stay, as we asked the owner of the hotel to call a vehicle for us (there is no other way to leave) and he replied “you can look for yourself and if you cannot find one, I will help you”… without a Chinese phone number and without speaking Chinese, it is impossible to call a local driver. So we mentioned this, and he called one driver. When we asked how much we should pay, he say 50 yuan for two people, same as he told us to pay on the way here, but his wife was there and got very angry at him because the real price was 15 yuan per person, and he was part of the rip off. The lady was very friendly and helpful, on the other side, so we want to thank her for her help as she tried to help us. Despite this, we still reccommend you to come as it is a beautiful place and there are walking paths that you can use to walk everywhere in town. The shared toilet was not a problem, hot water works well.

The ******* owner, with his carved beams and painted buildings, lives under the same roof for four generations. From the rooftop, you can see a flower field. Outside, you'll see magpies. Basking in the sun is incredibly comfortable. The sleeping area is quiet, with only the sound of the wind. This is the authentic feel of a ******* family.

It is perfect, the location is top-notch, there is no other like it, just walking to the Yala Snow Mountain and the Meldo Sacred Mountain Observation Deck, which is better than Observation Deck 1-5. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Observation Deck 5, which is very convenient. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic, the room is clean, everything is perfect, definitely worth recommending.

The weather was super hot. Fortunately, the Tibetan aunts in the hotel were very warm and caring. They also gave us a free upgrade to the room. It was great haha. 🌸 There is also a photo spot on the fourth floor of the hotel. It is very popular. I went out for an afternoon during the day. I actually encountered a super moon at night. The sky full of stars really wanted to hit the floor on the roof. Haha, I got up at 7 o'clock the next morning and got up to the roof to see the morning mist, but the boss sister said that the weather was cloudy and morning fog a few days ago. , but these two days are the big sun is gone 😞, but the Tibetan village in the morning is still super beautiful, and I also caught an unknown bird. It is a comfortable and beautiful place. Goodbye. (Most satisfied: breakfast is sour soup noodles and butter tea, all dried up 👍)

My child had a fever and stayed in Jiaju ******* Village for 1 day. I came across Huaye Inn and had the most peaceful day. I always believe that good service is that you can't feel the existence of the service, but it is extremely comfortable. Here I experienced it 🌝 I took the kettle out, Xiaoye immediately took the water to boil water, sat at the front desk and chatted for a few words, and poured the boiled water into the kettle. He was not enthusiastic or alienated, as if everything was reasonable. During the day, I washed and dried clothes, discussed antipyretic medicine with Xiaoye, ordered dinner with Xiaohua, had a cup of coffee, looked at flowers, fruits, cats and dogs in the inn, and watched the fog rise and dissipate in the mountains... Although my child had a fever, my mood was extremely peaceful. Life itself is very simple, but it is not simple to bravely live the life you want. The two young people who manage the inn are not simple. I admire their courage to leave Beijing and live in seclusion in the mountains from the bottom of my heart, and their respect for their inner heart and determination to abandon the secular world. I have no regrets in this life.

The homestay is like a paradise, overlooking the sacred mountain. The internal and external environment, bedding and bathing are all very good. Very satisfied! The hotel is near the No. 5 observation deck. It is almost the commanding height of the village. Needless to say, the scenery is too beautiful. The booked room has large windows on both sides. In the morning, the clouds and mist are around the mountain. The fairyland is average. There are several good viewing platforms in the public area of the hotel. The room was very clean, the boss was very good, sent a free drink, dinner at the hotel, 60 people's fungus soup chicken hot pot, meat and vegetables are unlimited, eating is very full and satisfying. Although the price of the room booked is slightly higher, nearly 500, but in the scenic area and in the remote mountains, the overall is very satisfied. I have lived in several Tibetan homestays, all of them are great, but ”Qingfeng Elegant Restaurant” is my favorite. The building is scattered and full of space. You can make a blockbuster without leaving the house. It is very suitable for families with primary schools and junior high school students. My children like it very much. Run up and down, which is more interesting than the amusement park in the city. The boss is very good, responsive, almost ten o'clock, and made dinner for us, thank you 🙏! come back next time.

The hotel is located within the Jiaju ******* Village scenic area, requiring a winding, narrow road. We arrived at night, so getting up was a bit of a struggle and we even took the wrong road. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic. Opening the curtains in the morning, the misty air shrouded the room, making it feel like a fairyland. There are many unique ******* village homestays nearby. The breakfast was also quite special, with a portion of multi-grain rice porridge and eggs per person. The only downside was that we spotted flies and woodlice in the room, perhaps due to the natural surroundings.

We drove by ourselves. Ajiacuo B&B is near the No. 3 viewing platform. It has a large window. You can see the sea of clouds while sitting and drinking tea. It really surprised us. In fact, it is also very close to the No. 4 and No. 5 viewing platforms, just a few minutes' drive. The No. 5 viewing platform can see a large number of ******* houses scattered around, and the No. 4 viewing platform is mainly for the beautiful mountain view. There are traditional ******* costumes for rent at the No. 3 viewing platform for taking photos. The price is not expensive, 20 yuan per person. The room is very good, with solid wood floors, comfortable beds, smart toilets, and large showers. It has rained a lot recently, and relatively few people have entered the mountains.
