Zhonglian Hotel Reviews

The hotel location is opposite the broken bridge. Within the vicinity, there are many shops along the river. The room is quite similar to a 4 or 5 star hotel. It is very clean, and comfortable to stay. Amenities are fully provided. The hotel lobby looks grand, but the toilet near the restaurant area stinks and not properly cleaned.

First house, directly on the bridge to North-Korea. Best place in town

Place is good, especially when you can see North Korea from room. But for some reason, the air heater seems to be on overdrive. It only gets hotter even if temperature was set to be lower.

Near to the Broken Bridge 鸭绿江断桥。Good breakfast and location.

The hotel was really clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast served was good. There were only 2 small issues. People smoking in the hotel, even with signs saying no smoking. Staff didn't stop people from smoking. And secondly during the night there's a strange humming noise in the bedroom.Otherwise a really good stay and I would definitely recommend others to book their stay there.

This hotel couldn't be in a better location if you want to visit the 'broken bridge' and stay just opposite North Korea! The service is very good here and the staff are friendly. The room was comfortable and the breakfast has just about everything you could wish for from Chinese and western! Overall, highly recommended.

Best location to see North Korea. Room was large and comfortable. Not far from train station.

Location is great as it is only a step away to the famous bridge to see part of north korea. The weather was humid and hot during our stay but the ac in the rooms werent cold enough so none of us slept well. The staff service weren’t really great when we asked to cool it down. Very disappointed as they probably could treat us foreigners better when it comes to service

Old but still one of the best hotel in Dandong.

The appearance of the hotel is very beautiful, and the children like to watch the lighting changes very much. After entering the hotel, the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and made you feel like you were at home. Check in time was quick. The room was very cozy and the temperature was just right. Surprisingly, our window was facing the two Yalu River Bridges. It was such an unexpected surprise. My family loved the group photo we took. The temperature dropped this morning and the child had a fever and cough. After the manager Wang at the front desk found out, he specially brought hot ginger tea, which really warmed my heart. It was a very pleasant stay. My family will recommend Zhonglian Hotel to Dandong in the future.

The real feeling of staying at Zhonglian Hotel. The lobby is very warm as soon as you enter the lobby. The staff are polite and enthusiastic. The room is clean and tidy and they pay attention to details. The restaurant has a variety of dishes. I ordered a fish-flavored shredded pork set meal for 39.9 yuan. It was super rich and not worth the price. Thinking that you can eat such economical dishes in a star hotel, I highly recommend it.

It was a wise decision to choose Dandong Zhonglian Hotel for this trip! The hotel staff is enthusiastic and professional, the rooms are clean and tidy, and it is very convenient to dine in the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. I heard that Dandong's specialty snacks are fried black clams, so I ordered one with a try-it attitude. I was really not disappointed. The fried clams were just right, smooth and chewy, covered with rich sauce, salty and delicious, and every bite was super satisfying. I also ordered Dandong's specialty chestnut cakes, which were sweet but not greasy, very delicious, highly recommended

My best friend who couldn't stand the temptation also came to Zhonglian Hotel to check in and take pictures. She was very surprised when she saw my travel photos and asked me to accompany her to Dandong. She booked the Zhonglian Hotel opposite the broken bridge of the Yalu River. The hotel also gave away coupons for travel photography. Because it was our first experience, we stayed in Dandong for two days. On the first day, we took beautiful photos at various check-in locations in the hotel. The hotel's service is really great. We were warmed everywhere, and the breakfast was also very rich, including my favorite prawns and rice dumplings in soup. The next day I went to the scenic spots in Dandong and spent a day shopping and eating. This two-night and three-day tour was really great. I must recommend it to everyone.
