Tried to extort money from me days after check out. I have never heard of this or experienced it before. Blocked my credit card for fraud just in case. They said an amount was still due when it wasn’t. Really regret booking this hotel, not good for foreigners.

Stay Inn Hotel is located in the noisiest part of Dar es Salaam - Kariakoo. Someone blasts a car horn here about once every second. There is no where you can escape from the bedlam, every room is exposed to a torrent of noise from outside, even on the highest floor. Even though the hotel is clean and cheap, the location in this case IS everything, since the

Room is good size, bed is comfortable. Shower is hot and powerful.
One criticism:
(note: breakfast serving time is 7-10am) I’ve been to Stay Inn previously, i show up at their breakfast room at 9am, not much food left. Hence I got there at 7am-ish this time, as I’m not the sort of person of person who like to pile on the plate in one go, I made a couple trips to the buffet to pick small amount each time so as to ensure I won’t waste any food by taking too much which I can’t consume. The shocking remark I got from the staff is ‘there is other guests too, don’t take anymore’ This put a very sour ending to what would have been a very nice stay.
