We had an absolutely amazing stay at Taj Chia Kutir Darjeeling! Nestled in the heart of the hills, the tranquil atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The tea plantation trek was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and a serene experience. The free yoga classes were a wonderful addition, helping us feel completely rejuvenated. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful options to suit every palate. Above all, the staff were exceptional – attentive, warm, and incredibly helpful. It was truly a memorable stay, and we can't wait to return!

I & my family had a great time. The staff are warm and kind. The food was delicious and they have good options to choose from. It's a beautiful property! The views are breathtaking... We had birds visit our balcony... Clouds coming into our rooms at times...

A little disappointed. Had been hearing a lot about this property and was wanting to come here for a long time. But didn’t find it worth all the hype and seems extremely over priced. I was in the valley view room and there was hardly any scenic beauty.

There is something for everybody here .. loved the villa , loved the daily events , high tea , the amazing band singing every evening , the chanting , the food and of course the taj hospitality at its best. They had many activities to keep u busy throughout the day

Superb Location, Hospitality was amazing.. All the service request was met promptly. Well trained staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay... Big Room with attached Deck for seating. Temp Controlled Pool. SPA was very relaxing. Overall Amazing experience.

One of the best hotels to stay with excellent service & hospitality… beautiful location overlooking the mountain ranges... Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner you have lot of food options and if required something which is not available on the menu, staff / food manager will make sure they arrange for the same in their best ability…

excellent service and warmt by TAJ ,Jitendra the General manager , saushis the food and beverage manager and the reception staff were fabulous. the attention to guest desires was very good, though the food should incorporate some more western and BBQ grills in the menu, the Sonar bangla restaurant food was amazing..

The resort went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Had highlighted an issue to them and they made sure it was resolved for the rest of my stay. Views from the room are very beautiful - peaceful and serene, ideal for a holiday to rejuvenate yourself. Food was excellent too. Totally recommended! One suggestion- more activities such as hiking and trail walks should be included in the package.

We spent one night at the Taj Chia Kutir and the overall stay & experience was fantastic. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming, the rooms are excellent & well kept. We had an excellent evening on the day of check in, starting with the high tea at the Chia Veranda. We also used the indoor, temperature control pool which was very well maintained, clean and manned. We also had dinner at their multi-cuisine restaurant (Chia Verandah) which was excellent. Next morning was a trek in the Makaibarie tea estate for a fee of INR 2500/- per person. The trek was excellent, led by Apil and it took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. The trek is meant only for the fit & healthy. Overall, lovely stay and we will definitely come back to this place!
