Yunshui Lijing Hotel (Datong Yuhe Ecological Park Datong University)

Prices soared during the May Day holiday, and the price was far from what you'd pay in person. It was, at best, a budget hotel. The housekeeping staff would knock on the door every afternoon to ask if we were ready, which was quite disturbing. The children in the next room were sometimes very noisy at night and in the mornings as well. The room was quite clean, but the air conditioning did smell like cigarette smoke, so if you're a smoker, be aware. The bed curtains didn't block out much light, and I was constantly woken by the bright lights.

Ctrip really needs to work on its quality control. The standard room in the hotel that costs 437 yuan a night without breakfast really feels like an apartment or a youth hostel. The hardware is not up to par. The floor tiles are very slippery when they get wet. There are blinds on one side of the room, which have very poor light blocking. The window in our room was broken. The hygiene was very poor on the first day of check-in. There were cobwebs and other things at the bottom of the cabinet, but we didn't care much because we had a long car ride. But the next two days were even worse. On the first day, the room was cleaned and the bed was made, but the floor was not mopped. On the second day, they just changed the garbage bag and put a few bottles of water in it. No hygiene was done. We returned to the hotel at around 8 o'clock, and the room was still the same as when we left in the morning. The bed was not made, the floor was full of hair, and there was an extra garbage bag in the bathroom. It was really drunk. Then we called the hotel front desk, and only then did we find a thick layer of dust on the phone. You can imagine how dirty it is. I have to add that when I first checked into the hotel, because the room was full of low-quality air fresheners, my throat started to hurt within ten minutes. Later, I felt better after the owner took away the air freshener. When we first called the owner, he offered various excuses, saying he didn't make the bed because he thought it was for the guests' personal use and didn't dare to, and that the trash bag left in the bathroom was clean. He kept pressing us to answer what we wanted to do. Later, for some reason, his attitude changed, and he even came to our room to apologize. The waiter also gave us a bag of millet and some of the daily complimentary drinks. We refused them, so the waiter enthusiastically placed them on the floor and ran out of the room. He later refunded us 215 yuan, saying it was a 50% discount on our last night's rate, and hoped we wouldn't leave a bad review. The owner kept emphasizing that business is not easy, that the cleaning lady's salary is not high, and that the refund was deducted from her salary. We accepted this with empathy. However, expressing your true feelings can bring peace of mind and give the hotel an excuse to improve. If service doesn't keep up, it will inevitably be eliminated in this era. One more thing to add: the hotel we stayed in Hohhot cost 520 per night, including breakfast for two, and it was near Hohhot East Station, in an area with relatively high housing prices. The hygiene, facilities, and attitude were much better. In comparison, the one in Datong was really too bad.

The room is not worth the money

The room has a kitchen, which takes up quite a bit of space. Besides two induction cooktops, there's nothing else there. I wonder what they use it for. Do people always bring their own pots when they go out? The cleanliness is really mediocre. Even sitting on a chair, I can see old mineral water bottles and trash under the bed. I told the front desk that the room was out of toilet paper, and they said to bring it up. I told them I was going out and they'd leave it in the room. When I came back, I found half a pack of low-quality tissues and a roll of toilet paper. Couldn't they have put it away for me? And... never mind. I stayed there anyway. I've never stayed in a hotel this bad at this price. I don't know where the good reviews come from.

對酒店印象很好，因為到達大同已經晚上八點半，停下車走進古城正好趕上大雨，在古城一個飯店避雨至十一點，酒店為我們保留房間，保安大爺熱心的為我們指導停車位，這些都給我們留下了非常好的印象。再説房間，很温馨乾淨明亮，入住很舒服，梳化床也不錯，睡着很好。衹是這次時間有限太匆匆，帶着孩子也沒好好瀏覽古城，倒是吃了刀削麪和小米涼糕涼粉啥的，真是沒吃夠也沒逛夠啊，還會再來的。前台小姐姐在我們走的時候很温馨的送了一袋小米和一瓶醬，讓我們一家人感覺非常温馨，謝謝熱情的大同人民！

第一次來大同玩，攜程網預訂了雲水麗景酒店，停車方便，保安大哥很熱心，直接指引的停車位，提示了出口方向，前台小姐姐服務熱情，小帥哥幫忙帶行李，直接送客人至房間，家庭房，一個大床，一個小床，一家四口夠用，酒店環境不錯，有冰箱，電磁爐，體驗不錯又續住一晚，第二天退房時小姐姐還送了一袋山西特產，周圍吃飯挺方便，有電影院，值得推薦
