"The hotel's location and facilities are indeed excellent, but the service and hygiene management haven't kept up. My child and I had a decent stay on the first night, so I decided to extend our stay for two more nights directly at the hotel. Since it was a last-minute extension, our original room was already booked, and the front desk recommended we switch to another family-friendly room. Unexpectedly, that very night we discovered multiple bugs in the bed, including stink bugs. At first, I considered it might be a fluke caused by an open window, and since it was very late after a day out and I didn't want to bother my child anymore, I didn't ask to change rooms. However, when we woke up the next day, there were over a dozen bugs in the bed, and some even left bloodstains after being squashed. I specifically asked hotel staff to come and inspect the room. Family rooms are supposed to provide a worry-free stay for families with children, so this level of hygiene is truly disappointing. I hope the hotel takes room cleanliness, pest control, and pre-check-in inspections seriously, so that the service truly matches the hotel's location and facilities."

"I booked two rooms. One was a 'demolition view' room, and it was literally a demolition view. I stayed for four nights and couldn't open the window because of the excessive dust. Workers on the construction site were smoking, and since my room was on a low floor, the smoke would drift into the room. The other room smelled strongly of traditional Chinese medicine as soon as I opened the door. When checking in, I repeatedly asked if there would be any construction work, and I was told there wouldn't be any recently. However, large construction vehicles were actually driven into the site, and I could smell strong diesel fumes. I was prepared for the rooms to be old, but the soft furnishings, like the carpet, were also very dirty, which is unacceptable. I stayed for four nights and had breakfast four times, and the menu never changed. Putting all that aside, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's convenient for getting everywhere. The Chinese restaurant is also a popular spot on other platforms and is worth trying."

"I booked this B&B hotel near Wuding Gate, inside the ancient city. It's on a street but surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and bright, with a charming Chinese decor, featuring a canopy bed with comfortable and soft bedding. The bathtub, toilet, and shower were all separate, which was great. They even offered afternoon tea and bead crafting. From here, you can easily walk to sights like the Daiwang Mansion, the city wall scenic area, the Sculpture Museum, and Huayan Temple. The freshly made pastries for breakfast every morning were delicious. It's an excellent choice for a relaxing stay within the ancient city."

"This hotel offers massage and bathing facilities. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is quite comfortable. We were a large group, so we booked three rooms. In one room, the duvet cover felt a bit damp, probably due to the weather and not being dried thoroughly. We reported it, and they promptly replaced it. I particularly want to recommend the massages in the massage area; the technique was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. It was perfect for unwinding after a day of city walking. The only slight drawback is that the restaurant is shared with the adjacent eLong hotel, and the food there wasn't quite up to par."

Opening the window revealed a magnificent view of the ancient city's buildings, and falling asleep to the sounds of the city's ancient architecture filled the air. Soaking in the private hot spring in my room felt like embracing the gentle beauty of Datong. The private hot spring in the room was a natural volcanic hot spring; after soaking, I felt warm and my skin was smooth, instantly washing away all the fatigue of the journey. The bedding was so soft, it felt like sinking into a cloud. The room's decor was in a Chinese style, perfectly matching Datong's image. Leaning against the window, I could take beautiful photos with the ancient city buildings in front of me. The butler service was also incredibly attentive, always ready to help. I booked a standard double room, but the butler proactively upgraded me to a different type—it was fantastic!"

When I was about to queue up at Longjuxiang, she told me they offered takeout, so I didn't have to wait in line! 😆 Thanks to the lady for her thoughtful service."
