Nice place to stay, clean and easy for public transport to old town, and other sights. Owners very nice and truly try to provide a nice accommodation, rare find for this price range.

Great hotel for the price! The owners are lovely people (who are very welcoming to foreigners, though they may not speak English). The room is basic but has all the necessities. Very conveniently located near the HSR train station.

Location is at the new area of Datong and very far from Datong old town
You can access to everywhere in Datong by bus in front of hotel even going to Hanging monastery

Nice family that run this place, they helped us out with any questions we had (via phone translator). The hotel itself is basic but very clean and the room was quite big.
The location is about a 30 min walk from the south train station, or about a 7-10¥ Didi ride. There are also plenty of buses that go past to the train station/to the centre of town. We caught public transport from here to the Yungang Grottoes fairly easily.

The hotel is located opposite Fantawild Adventure. The hotel is neat and clean. The boss and the landlady are very welcoming and the service is attentive. The hotel is very close to the bus station, which is very convenient for travel. The surrounding restaurants are also good and affordable. This is a very nice express hotel.

I have been avoiding B&Bs, but when I got there, I saw an old lady sleeping at the front desk, there was a mahjong table in the room, the bed had yellow marks, the towels had torn edges, and there was no bottled water provided. It was the worst three-day accommodation in Datong for the same price.

The room is clean and tidy. It is the first choice hotel for bringing children to Fantawild Happy World. You don't have to get up early to go to Fantawild. After playing in the evening, you can just cross the road and return to the hotel. The boss was very hospitable and personally helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. It is recommended to bring children to this store when visiting Fantawild.
