Wonderful hotel! Would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and so pretty. It had a big window to the courtyard, but there were good shades and curtains so no problem for privacy. The owners were very nice and attentive, they were always available if we needed anything and gave us a few bottles of vinegar as a parting gift. The location is right in the centre of the Datong old town, in a pedestrian area with shops and restaurants, very convenient for exploring the old town on foot and still easy to go to Yungang grottoes by taxi.

Nice to be right in the ancient city wall with little snack shops right outside. We stayed two nights and the room was clean and great for the kids.

The best hotel we have stated in China. It was in the city center, close to everywhere, very helpful owner. We appreciated, how they prepared our breakfast when we had to leave at 6 a.m. and the rooms....wonderfull HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very beautifully designed homestay with great breakfast set. Location is superb and convenient within the ancient city. Lots of options for photography, shopping and eating.

Very good hotel, right at the mainstreet. But there is no noise or whatsoever. Room was clean, very good breakfast: combination of European and Chinese. The staff was very friendly and we could check-in at arrival. Which was a few hours before check-in time. We got presents at checkout. I recommended this hotel!
