Everything is expensive, the spa is expensive, the restaurant is expensive, the breakfast is not very good, but it’s really comfortable to live in. The room is big, next to the beach, and you can catch small crabs when the tide is out. Sitting on the balcony at night is very quiet and comfortable. It’s convenient to rent a motorcycle and go anywhere. We even met each other by chance. A bunch of snails and a shrew that's super cute

Our third time to enjoy a getaway at Vida Homes ...this time for our 13th wedding anniversary. We love Vida Homes because we know the level of accommodations and service we receive will be first-class. During this visit, we stayed in one of the one-bedroom beachfront apartments. We could hear the lapping of the waves on the beach and our apartment was just like a home away from home. All our requests to make our anniversary special were executed with precision...as always! The check-in was simple, the stay was wonderful, and the check-out was easy and just like family. The food was delicious and plentiful. We can't wait to return for another escape escapade! Thank you to all the staff and excellent reservation/event planners who made it all so perfect!

What can you say 88 reviews all excellent. This is review 89. We stayed in a one bedroom ground floor condo. Very nice. Big comfortable bed, hot shower, cold AC, fast wifi, nice outside porch, direct beachfront. Clean and quiet. The staff is excellent. They have a restaurant next door for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, There is a dive shop onsite. Nice big swimming pool. Gated property safe and secure. Guard on the beach side. You can just walk down the beach to snorkel at the marine park. This is a great place to stay. Very relaxing. Thank you.

The condo is very well maintained, comfortable and clean. The personnel was always helpful and nice. We highly recommend this facility to everyone looking for a place to stay in Dauin, specially on diving vacation. We had an issue with the reservation, which had been downgraded by the travel agency without previous notice, but was promptly fixed by the condo management, and we moved to a beach front apartment, as originally booked. Everything went smoothly.

We had a wonderful week long stay at Vida Homes while we dove with Sea Explorers Dauin (see separate review). As a family of 4, we stayed in a spacious upstairs 2 bed 2 bath condo overlooking the pool and with a nice view of the shoreline. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and grounds crew, was extremely pleasant and attentive. Special thanks to Tess, who went out of her way to make our stay stress free. We took all of our meals at the adjacent restaurant...the menu is large and varied, and the food is very good. Thank you all for an unforgettable family vacation scuba diving and relaxing in the Philippines!

We spent a month at Vida Homes and had the best trip ever. All the people there were fantastic and always helpful. They made us feel like family during all the holiday events, we never missed the snow back home! The facilities and food/drink options are top notch. There is amazing snorkeling/diving just right off the beach or a short walk away. This was far and away our best vacation trip.

We stayed for 4 nights a Vida Holmes in Dauin, Negros Oriental, Philippines. The condos were extraordinary. They were roomy, light, and homey. It was a very relaxing resort. We had a second floor condo with an exceptional balcony for enjoying the evenings and beautiful views of the property. The food was exceptional. We would return to this resort in the future. Clean, airy, and comfortable.

This is my 5th visit to Vida Homes and it remains as perfect as the first time. As well as fantastic accommodation the gardens are beautifully manicured and worked on every day. They are so pretty. A special thank you to the talented gardeners.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Vida Homes last December! We booked Villa 3, and it was such an enjoyable weekend. Would love to come back~ Location: Pura Vida/Vida Homes is located within the town proper, but by the seaside. It’s easy enough to spot (in the evenings they have a lit up sign by the highway). The resort is spacious (owing to it having 2 variations, the more public resort, and the more private villa homes and rooms). Despite being in the town proper, the area is quite quiet and secluded, which gives it an excellent relaxing feel. Rooms: Villa 3 is one of the newest villa additions so everything inside is new. Private carport (fits 1), spacious living room area, big kitchen with island and huge fridge and ample cooking space, 2 bedrooms (1 master and 1 twin). And its own private pool. Villa Amenities: Loved the bathroom, which was spacious. Shower and rack heights are fitted for tall people but it’s not such a big issue. Hot water available throughout the day. Kitchen is available for cooking (if you bring your own things), but didn’t get to try this out as we didn’t plan to cook. Cooking pans, chopping boards, and cutlery are available in the drawers for free use. Fridge had more than ample space, with a ref and freezer area. They also had an oven, induction stove, and hot water kettle. A large drying rack is right by the sink for easy drying. Airconditioning is available in each room, plus the living room. TVs are in both rooms, with access to some channels like CNN. Beds (toppers) were a little hard (probably since they haven’t been used so much) and I tossed and turned for the first night. It was much better during the second night. There are also a lot of light switches throughout the villa, and they aren’t labelled or positioned in places that always make sense, so we often had to go around looking for which lights light up which areas (both inside the house and by the patio/pool). Resort Amenities: Aside from our private pool, Vida Homes has 2 more pools (one lap pool which is somewhat deep, and the main pool which has an attached pool bar). By the restaurant is another pool, as well as a billiards area. Food: You can order food at the restaurant, or have them served at the villa (except for breakfast). Food was quite good, I especially liked the salmon served with pesto and cheese. Pizza was also delicious, and with big servings. Service: Par Excellence. From the moment we arrived, to checking out, I found the service to be highly excellent. Staff, whether they were on the grounds or coming to the villa, were always friendly and easy to talk to. The owner(?) would always give us a friendly greet when she saw us on the grounds, or when we were having breakfast. Price: As it was during Covid when I visited, the resort had promo prices which made it more affordable to stay in compared to pre-Covid.
