Way way way Overpriced Tiny room - yes it’s charming - but it’s too small to be so expensive! Bathrooms are nice, but don’t compensate for the price of the room. I did not use the spa so I can only say that there would have been a fight if I had come for a relaxing spa week. The place was teeming with infants & toddlers & preschoolers who yelled & howled and stomped. The was one on the floor above my room who made my nights miserable. Everything is tres expensive everywhere in the area. There’s very little there but it will cost as much as a trip to Europe. I must compliment the staff. They were polite, friendly and always helpful. None of my complaints are their fault.

What a beautiful place for a getaway. Our king balcony room was clean, well designed with a very clean new bathroom, and had a beautiful view of the lake. The room was small but perfect for a night or 2. We enjoyed relaxing in the many beautifully designed common rooms at Kenoza Hall, walking around the property and just across the street and down to the peaceful lake, and the many goodies provided like cider and cookies at check-in, coffee and tea throughout the day and s’mores kits for the evening bonfire. It’s obvious that the owners as well as the nice people working at reception try to think of all the little things that make a stay special.

i wonder why my review was not going through , maybe because i was more negative than the rest of the reviews . But sorry guys i am probably more realistic . It all depends where you are coming from , but when you are charged 750 USD per night for a very very basic room some of the amenities don't get the same attention as if the hotel would have charged 350 usd max . When i say basic , it meant so . No TV , no lift , nobody at the reception after 10.00 pm and the entry door is open the whole night , an invitation for unwanted visits . no house telephone (so incase of needed help you either go down to the reception ,or send the a message or use your mobile phone to call them .) Location of the hotel is very nice , the tea-room , or settling down outside is a perfect way for chilling out . The restaurant which some reviewers 'praised' was 'ok' but really nothing special . The service was very kind , although some of them not really professional i.e i found it vey disturbing that after finishing to eat the plates where collected but the used cutlery was held separately under the plates resulting in dropping sauce on the table and surroundings which was not very appetizing. The basic breakfast for two people including scrambled eggs with bread and coffee was 88 usd for two . i find this to bee prohibitive . All in all , one can not avoid the feelings that this hotel its all about money , i therefore title it "day light robbery" .

I had the pleasure of staying at Kenoza Hall recently, and I must say that it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment I set foot on the property, I was captivated by its beauty, charm, and unrivaled hospitality. Kenoza Hall, nestled in the heart of nature, is a haven of peace and tranquility. The tranquil surroundings, complete with lush greenery and an unforgettable lake, instantly transported me into a state of bliss. Just writing this makes me cry. I am so grateful to this place for restoring me in ways that I can not even begin to describe, but I will try: The atmosphere of Kenoza Hall was the perfect way to round out the most trying year of my life. I had arrived a fragile mess and left the best version of myself, and my heart was overflowing with gratitude. This place allowed me to reconnect with nature and myself while healing my heart. Swimming in the lake, rain or shine, provided me with some deeply meaningful experiences. It was just what I needed at the time, and I will never forget it. Kenoza Hall's accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was elegantly designed, with a perfect blend of nostalgic charm and modern comforts. It was like receiving a warm hug from your favorite grandparent. They even have the candy to match! You know, the ones that come in strawberry wrappers:) The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed amenities, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Kenoza Hall's exceptional staff is what truly distinguishes it. Every member of the team exuded warmth, friendliness, and a genuine desire to make guests feel at ease. Everyone, from the front desk to the dining room to the spa, went above and beyond to make my stay nothing short of extraordinary. Their personalized service made me feel like a valued guest and enhanced the overall experience. When I first met Adam at the front desk, I was struck by his warmth and genuine care. He went above and so far beyond, from helping me with my bags to making recommendations on where to eat and what to do in town to simply chatting with me when I needed it. He clearly is in love with this place, and I do not blame him! Having him as a support made me feel at ease and at home while I was there. He is a gentle and kind soul, and Kenoza Hall is fortunate to have him. I also met V, who was extremely helpful in answering my questions about swimming in the lake and hiking on the trail. I could tell he was looking out for my best interests and was concerned about my safety and experience. I appreciate him as well. Kenoza Hall's culinary journey was a delightful adventure in and of itself. Chef Oscar's meals were all masterpieces deserving of recognition. This is a minor detail, but it means a lot to me: He makes a Popover with herb butter before dinner that has me in tears of gratitude. I could have eaten just that as my meal and been satisfied. I have to say that the dining ambiance overlo

After a long drive from New York with a 3 year old child, we were told that they can not accommodate us at the restaurant with the explanation that we should have made a reservation at the time of the room booking. At that time a third of te restaurant was empty and there was space at the bar! When asked whether we can order some food and take it to go, we were also told no. I asked about a room service, same answer no. Can you just make a simple pasta for a baby, no. I had to call the restaurant manager and the general manager both saying how fine dining their place is! Pathetic that there is no basic understanding that fine dining starts with fine customer service. At the reception we were told that nobody delivers apart from pizza and the nearest place to eat is 15 min drive. In the end, they gave us cooked pasta to go, which turned out too salty abd the baby refused eating it. Travelers with kids, beware, you would be totally ripped off paying almost a thousand dollars a night and not being able to feed your baby unless you make a reservation months in advance! On top of that you would hear long stories about how great their restaurant is and that they are busy accommodating other guests! For any well run hotel, you would expect some food options to be always available whether it is a restaurant, room service , take out or delivery. If you are too busy, as they say, hire more staff to be able to serve the guests you charge almost a thousand dollars a night for. Will never come back.
