I checked in pretty late. It took almost an hour to finally get someone to come to the desk. Had I not booked through an app I would have gone somewhere else. They did discount the room for my troubles. The room was very clean & the complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well. Overall my stay was pretty pleasant. Even after the rocky start I would book again when I visit the area.

One small “complaint “…Are all “modern “ hotel rooms without a closet space to hang clothes ( like a suit, dress)?
Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay there, and, would stay there again

The breakfast hot food was awful. The staff was nice enough but there was a problem with communication. When we checked in there was a gentleman that was sitting in the lobby with his bare feet up on the table and when we came down for breakfast he was the one putting out the food.

The building is either new or recently renovated and in good condition. Our check - in was poor. We arrived at 2:35 pm on a Thursday, no one at desk. I waited for over 5 minutes then went looking for a staff member. Finally found a young man who abruptly informed me if I was checking in I had to wait until 3:00 pm. I questioned that (only 3 cars were in the entire parking lot) and sat down to wait 25 minutes. Well somehow he managed to come up with our room 5 minutes later. The room was very nicely appointed and also appeared new or recently renovated, but several items, including the shower head and fixtures, were installed improperly. There was also a previous occupant's dirty clothes hanging on the bathroom door. Breakfast was good. So, a very mixed experience and I don't think I would stay there again.

Everything was very nice. The only thing was that there was a surcharge for our pet.
Though the booking site may have referenced this fact, it was not obvious. You advertise as “pet friendly “ then charge extra for the pet! We stayed at another La Quinta where there was no such fee, so that was our expectation.

It was a short commute to Fort Jackson. The staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Be sure to look at the beautiful mural in the commons area.

We where there a very short time, checked in around 830 pm and left by 645 the next morning. The desk clerk was amazing, we called for help with th tv and within a couple minutes he was in our room rebooting it and got it working. The motel had recently been renovated and was nice...only concern will be if can be keep as clean as we saw corners in places with small amounts of dirt, like i said before i am sure we were there a short time and not there after cleaning crew
