There is a bathtub. You can buy a disposable bath bag when traveling. It is nice to take a bath occasionally. The breakfast is simple. It is very convenient to have a shuttle bus near the airport. You have to go two or three kilometers away to eat. There is a China buffet which is not bad.

The room seemed fine initially though definitely cheap quality. The shower wall was not properly wiped down. The most unacceptable part was when I went to check out the included breakfast, there were cockroaches running around on the breakfast counter. One of which was inside the plastic container housing the bread and bagels. I would have reported it to the staff immediately but there was no one around, not even when I checked out moments later. So gross! I filed a complaint so they should be made aware now.

Opened the curtains to find food stuck to them, crawled into bed to find food stuck to the sheets, the shower was only one temperature (SEARING hot) the breakfast was NOT good, claimed to be a "green" hotel but then supplied single use toiletries and styrofoam plates, the internet cut out every ten minutes, had multiple occasions of other guests running up and down halls and banging on doors at night.

The hotel is rundown and desperate for upgrades. Glass in the parking lot building supplies are all over the place. Broken door handles and just a complete mess. Door to my room was very hard to open and then when in the room it took a lot of effort to close. Bathroom had a large hole with exposed wires hanging out over the sink. The smell in the hallway was musty. Ice maker was broken for the entire trip.

At check in, random man in breakfast area told us the front desk person would be right back, waited 15 min or more, he came in with a bag of snacks from the gas station down the street. Send your friend if you are working. Only elevator on far opposite end of hotel from front desk, our room on front of hotel, hauling luggage up a stairwell a lot easier and quicker. One room’s window overlooked ballroom, loud wedding going on to wee hours. Hotel not fully booked, why put a non wedding guest in a room overlooking it and the excessive noise? Halls and stairs dirty, questioning how often they are cleaned, did not see a single cleaning staff the whole weekend. . No housekeeping in our room while there but when we got there, there was an envelope on the counter for tipping the housekeeping staff. 6-9AM breakfast out of COFFEE, OJ and yogurt before 8AM, asked front desk to refill, he refused. Enough guests complained he made more coffee, coffee grounds in the coffee, and brought out some cases of yogurt. For around $150 a night including fees, will not stay there again.

Overall the experience was very unpleasant. We were placed in a room that was unfinished. Did not have a bed stand, curtains, or a TV stand. There was a refrigerator sitting on the floor with a microwave sitting on top of it. Cords running all over it. Hotel was incredibly warm.

Not thrilled to find out the next morning that our window was wide open to the atrium. Got in late at night, the floors were not cleaned well if they were cleaned. We just went to sleep- and in the morning opened the cutrains to find our window wide open and did not lock. Disappointed.

The hotel in these photos is long gone. Instead, we walked into a run down, smelly dump. The gentlemen at the front desk were nice enough at check in and it appeared that their payment processing was new and unfamiliar to them, so it took a while, which is fine. When we moved our vehicle to the side of the building to park near the entrance closest to our room, we were met with warning signs that we could not ignore. There were a couple of people lurking out there amidst postings every few feet that the company is not responsible for damage or theft. Ok. Went into the hotel from the side entrance. There was obviously a fairly new coat of cheap paint in the hallway, as there were significant splatters of it encrusted in the carpet. When we got to our room, we were met with the most terrible odors of something very foul mixed with aggressive chemicals, which induced a nasty headache within a few short minutes. Our feet stuck to the floor. The bad paint job motif continued. The bedding was dirty. Nothing was as it appeared in the pictures on their site. Very shabby and run down. Overall not a good vibe to be found. We decided to check out and find somewhere else to stay, as neither of us would have been able to sleep in those surroundings. I mentioned these things at checkout. I was not offered a refund and did not ask for one, as my main priority was to get as far away from there as fast as possible for my own safety. Enjoyed the rest of our weekend at a decent establishment in another area for roughly the same price.

Best place to travel , me and friends stay here and amazing stay . Very helpful staff . Very great environment for stay with friends and family . They have on site restaurant which has verity food and choice . When instay they have musical nights so so much fun we have it

We stayed at the Ramada for four nights checked out , stayed with family and returned to Ramada for a final night before Iowa. There was an issue with my first check in with ******* .. it took us over an hour because the hotel didn’t receive our payment which was fine online . Thankfully we got an agent on the phone who sorted it out . My second check in with booking.con was seamless. All went well and hotel staff we use to us and looked after me and my family . The rooms exceeded our expectations. We’re not breakfast people but was able to get good coffee, toast, cereal etc.. I will definitely return to Ramada Des Moines.
