I really liked the hotel. However, we had a incident at the hotel lounge. We ordered drinks and sat down. Waited 15-20 minutes and never received our drinks. Were asked to leave since we did not have reservation and there were multiple open tables. I think they thought we were off the street. I did not feel welcome anymore at the hotel. I have traveled many places around the world and never got kick-out of the hotel bar. End up having drinks in the room. Hope they fix the atmosphere in the lounge to welcome hotel guests.

Beautiful hotel, and personnel were on point! Unfortunately, the parking was $45/night, when I thought it was complimentary, and the $50 room service ended up being $81… I guess I should have asked to see the invoice before checking out :/

We had a wonderful one night getaway. We loved the setting. Staff were all courteous and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at San Morello. We are looking forward to returning soon!

The hotel needs to do a better job cleaning. Our bathroom was not very clean. The toilet had stains and there is hard water white stains on the shower head and removable shower head. There was also hair from other people in the bathroom. The valet service was not the best either. Not very helpful and organized properly. Needs improvement.

We really enjoyed our stay! A few things were less than perfect. Our room was a bit small, and hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. There was also a fishy smell in the shower, though it dissipated when we ran the water. Most of the staff were super friendly, a few less so. As for eco-friendliness, I didn’t see a recycling bin or any signage encouraging guests not to waste towels, etc. Overall, the hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, the food is fantastic, and it’s certainly a unique place.

Overall very nice, great service. The bed and couch are not very comfortable and the pillows should be burned, they are among the worst I’ve ever put my head on.

This was our second stay at the Shinola and it was everything we expected and more! We had a bit of trouble with the thermostat, so that's why the 'pleasant' rating for comfort. Otherwise it was PERFECT and we WILL be back!!!

Really nice hotel! Enjoyed our stay! Rooms were very clean and nice! Overall a nice stay and we would love to stay there again!
I think the customer service could have been better, they were ok! Didnt feel too welcome from the staff in the front desk!
