We have just completed our first corporate event at this stunning hotel. Our delegates travelled from the USA, Canada, Malta, Dubai as well as the UK. Everyone loved the staff, food and location. From our point of view, the staff here over the build up to, and during this course have been simply amazing. From the Chef and kitchen serving lovely food, to Chris the Manager and Daisy who serves and makes feel so welcome. We couldn’t be happier. But especially Rebecca, the Events Manager. Her professionalism and friendly approach made dealing with Beechfield House on a personal and business level an absolute pleaser. For anyone thinking of a vacationing here or an event; we highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights, it claims to be 4 Stars. We stayed in the Yew bedroom, facing the driveway, there was No latch on the bathroom door or lock, Some Furniture had broken drawers with bottoms falling out, Coat hangers in the wardrobe had missing attachments, so we were unable to hang clothes on the rail, The wardrobe contained an ironing board and safe, so there was little room for clothes, The bedroom safe was not working, we asked for a replacement, and the replacement did not work either. The DVD Recorder was not connected to the TV, and did not work, The Hotel Book in our bedroom contained only a children's menu for dinner, I had to ask twice on booking for confirmation and it arrived several days later. At the breakfast buffet, most of the dried food contained bananas, and there was a poor selection of fresh fruit. The cooked breakfast was nice with several choices. We checked out after 9 am, there was no receptionist at the desk. The cost of 2 nights was paid for earlier in the year, however on leaving I was invoiced for a service charge. I have since discussed the charge with the hotel, it has been reimbursed. We did report the broken safe and the missing attachments for the hangers to reception. It would appear the room was not checked thoroughly before our arrival.

I was tasked to arrange works social event for 26 people (something I had never done before) and I chose Beechfield House mainly based its positive reviews. From the beginning, Rebecca was extremely helpful and always promptly replied to my constant stream of emails which made things a lot easier for me. The Hotel, with its Garden Room was a lovely space to hold the event and the front of house staff were well organised, helpful and very friendly (thanks Daisy). The food was very well presented and everyone enjoyed their meals (not a single complaint!). Thank you Beechfiled House for making the event a success!

When we had a a big family celebration dinner we chose Beechfield House because from previous occasions we were happy that it would all go well, and by golly it did. The hotel itself is an excellent venue and at all times the staff were always very helpful and friendly right from the original the original enquiries to the night of our “do” when the waiters were cheerful, polite and efficient. Our thanks also go to the kitchen staff because food was excellent. All in all we were delighted with everything.

We stayed here after a trip to Bath. A lovey hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds, a nice outside pool and playing area. The room was excellent as was the service, the staff and the meals. Highly recommended, we will hopefully visit again.

A wonderful Easter Sunday 4 course lunch….perfect service and faultless food. We are both very well travelled and know when great attention to detail has been applied to deliver standards as high as these… very well done, we’ll be back…it was a real pleasure to be so well looked after…

We arrived at this hotel on a miserable wet afternoon. How refreshing to encounter a hotel that was not the same old same old decor and staff that were old school and took a pride in their hotel. This hotel retains the old country house style with modern touches that create a spot on ambience. Good food and a level of service, with minimal staff, that displayed fabulous attention to detail that many modern hotels are sadly lacking. I’ve stayed in many a hotel but was quietly impressed by this one. A little gem

Very friendly welcome on arrival and we were then shown to our room which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t have an evening meal but breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very comfortable and peaceful stay with great staff and food.
