Dongguan Changping Town Hotels

This hotel offers incredible value for money, which is hard to find in Changping. It's a 4-star hotel, yet it's very affordable and includes both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast spread is excellent, and they even offer a free single service and complimentary drinks. While the rooms are a bit dated, the hotel's location at the start of the pedestrian street is quite convenient. It's truly difficult to find a hotel with such great value for money.

I am a Western businessman who visits Changping regularly but usually stayed farther away in Dongguan. After reading many reviews, I decided to pick the Fairfield Marriott—and am I glad that I did. Not only was it super close to the company that I was visiting, but the hotel was clean and incredibly well maintained, and equally important to me was the outstanding (and incredibly reasonably priced) breakfast. It had everything I wanted and was on par with much more expensive hotels, especially for a Western palate. I was told by a Chinese colleague that this was also true for the Chinese breakfast selection. If you are a Western traveler looking for an outstanding choice in Changping, the Fairfield Marriott should be your go-to choice, hands down! No need to stay further away for a top notch hotel!

Requested for a non smoking room but my allocated room smelled of cigarette despite doing 1 cleaning. After paying for a room change, my room phone rang every 1 hour but hotel could not identify the cause .

Wifi has been upgraded so now it works much better than my previous stay. However there's an antique found in my room on this visit which is the wall mounted hair dryer, see attached pictures. This machine can date back to hotels opened in the 90's. No only it is very noisy and not powerful in blow drying, you also need to stand in the bathroom throughout the entire process. It would be a nightmare for ladies with long hair. Other than that, the bath towel seems to be worn out with a torn in the center. Wallpaper also has signs of peeling. Nevertheless, the hotel provides free bottles of water at the reception other than those 2 issued in the room. After all, the stay was good and the TV has also been upgraded.

The location and service are good, but the facilities are old. The refrigerator in the room was broken and wouldn't turn on. The breakfast menu also seems to have fewer items compared to before.

This Jintai Hotel is really good! The geographical location is superior and the surrounding transportation is super convenient. There is Tianhong Shopping Mall next to it, and it is only ten minutes' walk to Changping South Station. It is very convenient and the environment next to it is elegant and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with functional rooms, laundry, fitness, and entertainment facilities. The waiters are warm, thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall great value for money, highly recommended to everyone!

The room facilities were excellent, and the front desk service was superb. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and snack packs available at the self-service area. The overall environment was very pleasant, and the service was truly attentive. I'll definitely be returning to this hotel for my next stay.

Free parking, decent breakfast, and the rooms are pretty good. The pool is suitable for kids who can swim, with depths ranging from 1.2m to 1.6m, and you can use it as many times as you like during your stay. The front desk service, however, was a bit lacking in emotional intelligence. I arrived at 12 PM, and the young woman at the front desk told me rooms wouldn't be available until 2 PM, mentioning it was a busy National Day holiday. She could have easily said a room was ready and arranged it immediately instead of making me wait until 2 PM. It just showed a lack of tact, especially since I booked through a platform that allowed for a 3 PM check-out!

The receptionist at the front desk had a good service attitude. We upgraded our room for free. The room was large and clean.

The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are a bit old. The reception was nice. I have said what needs to be said. Those who need to be reminded have been reminded. The average consumption per person is only a hundred yuan and there is nothing much to choose from. The price-performance ratio is relatively high. It seems that there is some unusual noise coming from the return air vent of the 1007 air conditioner, so it can be repaired.
