The staff are all friendly and comfortable. They take care of everything from airport transfers to the buffet. The buffet, which mainly features Filipino and Western food, is very delicious and will satisfy even the most discerning foodies. You can enjoy kayaking in the lagoon and island hopping by participating in the daily activities. And personally, the best thing about this hotel is the coral reef right in front of the hotel. Guests can enjoy snorkeling freely. I was able to spot Nemo and sea turtles. The only bad thing is the quality of the shower. The water pressure is weak and the hot water runs out quickly. It's a remote island, so it can't be helped.

Good reviews, worth recommending. The price/performance ratio is good. You can see a lot of big fish and turtles when snorkeling in front of the hotel. The food tastes good too. The only problem may be that the room is a bit small.

The seaside rooms are surprisingly quiet because the sea dam blocks the surging tide. The resort has a variety of activities. Snorkeling and kayaking are free at the resort itself, and the scenery is not inferior to the outer islands.

The room was mini and very clean. Especially the staff service is very good and the management is great. The hotel includes all meals and activities. El Nido’s most classic island hopping tour is included. The price/performance ratio is very high. Recommended stay

Used for 2 nights and 3 days. Even when my flight from Manila to El Nido suddenly changed from an afternoon flight to a morning flight, the boat was quickly arranged and we arrived at the resort smoothly. Furthermore, I was able to enjoy the lunch buffet on the day of my arrival! The location of the resort is also great! Not only is it close to big and small lagoons, but it also takes about 15 minutes by boat to snorkeling points. Excellent access to activity fields. You can see an incredible amount of fish in the sea around the hotel. A resort I would like to stay at again when I come back to El Nido

The island is private and quiet, and there is a turndown service every night. The hotel has sea activities every day, which will be staggered with the island hopping tours outside. There are relatively few people at several attractions. There are snorkeling beaches, fish feeding caves, boating, and three meals are included. At the buffet, the Filipino island hopping guy is also very enthusiastic and will help you take photos. Winter is the peak season in the Philippines, so the price will be more expensive. It would be more perfect if there is a bathtub.

It's not a good idea to travel alone. You pay a deposit first, and the necessary expenses are paid from it, so you don't have to pay anything during your stay.Also, you can generally be satisfied with the activities included in the hotel plan, so there is no need to make reservations. You can truly forget about the world. Please note that transportation must be booked up to three days in advance, and activities must be booked up to the day before. It seems that the marine plants and animals on the beach in front of the hotel are being carefully protected and nurtured, and there are signs of regeneration. Even now, there are various plants and animals in that narrow cove, which can be seen from the pier, and is a great place to snorkel or dive. It is very fun. The air conditioning is so comfortable that you almost forget you're in the Philippines. There is also hot water in the bathroom. Above all, the staff are very hardworking and I would like to hear about what kind of employee training they do. The activities are also very interesting. Meals change daily. I think it's delicious for the Philippines. (In general, the food is better in Thai-Vietnamese food. I have the ingredients, so why not?) I wanted to get back the frying pan and make the omelet myself. If I give you the recipe for dessert, will you make it for me? )g The only thing is that the drainage system is weak, and there is an ammonia smell in the shower room. This is a common problem throughout the Philippines, and may be a fundamental problem with the piping system or construction technology.

Satisfied with the room and service

Miniloc Island Resort was very memorable for us with the resort overlooking the Bacuit Bay. They providing well organized (included) tours to nearby places (lagoons, islands and snorkeling), nice comfortable boat transfers, airport lounge, good selection of buffet style food (including one candle light dinner on the beach) and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable, nicely appointed and very clean. Normally we would not stay at a resort where we are committed to their services/tours, as they may be overpriced and/or not to our chosen itinerary. We choose to splurge and stay at Miniloc Island given that Big and Small Lagoons are located on the island. This allowed us to visit the lagoons when there are less people and come back to the hotel. It also provided us some flexibility if the weather favored one day over another. When we checked in to the resort they provided a list of complimentary tours with separate tours for big and small lagoons as well others, see photo of tours. The lagoon tour times vary by the tide. If you want to go in early in the morning book dates at the resort were high tide is earlier in the day. We did all of the tours pictured and enjoyed each one. The trip felt up market with nice boats, plenty of space and good crew. During the rest of the trip we spent four nights in Coron and one in El Nido. We stayed in El Nido one night so we could go to places further from Miniloc. These places were not in one of the hotel tours and private boat tour from El Nido was much more reasonably priced ($160-180). In Coron we booked private boat tours three days. The private tours were nice and allowed us to choose our itinerary. When we flew out of the El Nido the resort let us use their lounge even though we stayed at a different hotel the prior night. Their departure lounge was nice. We have traveled to over 40-50 countries and have come to SE Asia at least every two years for well over a decade. Miniloc Island Resort is one of the most memorable place we have stayed and would like to stay here again.

Nine members of us visited Miniloc Island on January 20th this year and had a very great time there. We enjoyed lots of marine activities like snorkeling and kayaking at lagoons or islands nearby for two days. Mr. Andy Mahinay, a staff of Miniloc Island, was always guiding us around and giving us very wonderful experiences with his hearty hospitality. We all deeply thank him for his kindness and sincereness during our stay and have decided to be back there to see him again some day.

This is my first time writing review because people needs to know how amazing this place is. We went to hawaii and it is incomparable. MIR by far is the best vacation we’ve had. What makes it perfect is the staff. They showed how hospitable filipinos are. Don’t hesitate to book all those other activities, they are all worth it. I wanna say thank you again to all the staff of MIR. You guys made our vacation unforgettable. PS: when you book, Look/ask for “Andy” Mahinay (tour guide). He’ll take care of you. He is the best!
