I don’t think the location is ideal. Cuz it is up to the hill so must use a tug tug every time u go outside. Also there is no restaurant near by. Must go to city and It was concerning. If u have heavy luggage it is hard to go out and in. Cuz it has many stairs.
Owner or manager is very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The view was great tho.

We arrived tired and out of sorts, but we were greeted so warmly that our spirits immediately improved. The hosts gave us tea, chatted in a homely way - you feel like a welcome guest, not a client.
The hotel is on top of a mountain, and each room has an exit to a terrace with a stunning view. You wake up in the morning - and in front of you there are only mountains and silence. The room is clean, cozy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail.
Breakfast was prepared especially for our preferences: fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, even smoothies! The staff is not formally polite, but truly kind.
If you want to not just spend the night, but feel cared for and relax your soul - this is definitely your place. I want to come back again and recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the hosts for such an atmosphere!

Great view, no shampoo or toothbrushes in the bathroom and dead bugs on the floor. The room itself is quite clean with a great view and a very tasty breakfast. During breakfast the staff member chased away monkeys that wanted to steal our food.

Thanks to management of the property. My daughter and I had a lovely and peaceful stay. The rooms are clean and with all the basic amenities. A very homely care and the food is marvelous. I observed that the management took personal effort to locate a guest's phone which she has left in the tuk tuk The view from the hotel was superb. The management was kind enough to organise a guide for us to take us through this unbelievable landscape in Ella. Real value for the money.

We stayed for two nights to visit Ella area. The hotel, the dinner and breakfast where good. The room clean and big enough. The hospitality was great. And the view was great. To get to this place take a tuktuk and be aware of the steps to the hotel. But they take care of you. The only small thing was the hard bed, but if you prefer that it's okay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ella Alpine Resort. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were clean. When you come, be sure to notice that the furniture is made of solid wood. What a nice touch. We enjoyed seeing a variety of birds from the terrace and spotting a deer while eating breakfast. One afternoon's "monkey migration" of about 30 monkeys going across the terrace on their way down the hill had me laughing out loud. The resort is in a quiet location which is great for getting good sleep!

The staff were super kind and very welcoming especially Piranatha the manager. He also helped find me a lovely tuk tuk driver Vijay who became my guide. The room had an amazing view and the breakfast was fantastic. They also did my laundry for a reasonable rate
