"We had a wonderful stay at Nimal Nest Inn in Ella. The location is absolutely beautiful with amazing mountain views, and the service was outstanding. The owner, Nimal, is genuinely pleasant and friendly, and he gave us great tips on nearby tourist activities and how to get around. It rained during our stay, so the views were misty and moody, but honestly, it created a completely different vibe that felt calm, cozy, and special in its own way. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and delicious, and we appreciated the little details like the mosquito nets over the beds (even though we didn’t notice many mosquitoes). The only small inconvenience was that the water didn’t get extremely hot, since they use solar power to supplement electricity, and the weather was unusually cloudy and rainy. That said, it didn’t deter us at all. Just a note: the hotel is up a winding road high above town, but tuk-tuks are easily available if you don’t want to walk back and forth. Overall, a great place to stay in Ella, beautiful, peaceful, and hosted by someone who truly cares. We’d absolutely recommend it!"

"The hotel was a little out of the way, but a beautiful location, and the owner drove me to the city center and picked me up, and also took me to the train station….all for FREE ! The breakfast was amazing (but way too much for one person). I would stay the again."

"The welcoming and staff are amazing and so is the dinner; however, the hotel is really far from downtown. My room was small but okay, it had a nice balcony with mountain view. The bathroom is big, but it flooded everytime I took a shower since there is no shower curtains or box. Watch out: the floor becomes very slippery! They did not clean my room or even asked me if I wanted it to be cleaned. I asked them for a silent room (my only request) and the front desk girl gave me a room over the restaurant which means noise started at 6:30am ):"

"This hotel is beautiful and modern. Location is great, easy to get to restaurants and shops outside of the hotel. Staff have been very attentive and helpful. They clean the rooms promptly. The laundry service is great. The staff even ran to help us push the car up the hill when it was stuck. Room service food has been very good too, their devilled chicken and pizza were the best. Highly recommend staying with Te Dalu if you are visiting Ella."
