BEWARE! Between ******* and Mintrops there is a 2 tier price. We booked well in advance. We thought we were getting luxury room because of the nighty rate of approx. $340. When we got to our room, it was very normal room,1bed and a small balcony overlooking a parking lot. I checked with the desk to see if we had the right room. They said yes. I asked the current rate.. $128 a night! Shocked, I called *******. They were responsive and refunded their portion $200 for 2 nights

We had the perfect suite for a family of four, large double bedroom, second bedroom with double bed sofa and a two part bathroom with shower and separate bath. For the adults the breakfast was fine but for the children it was missing the basics. We didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but it looked very popular and was busy most nights we were there. The location was fantastic and parking was easy, right outside in the market square, also free. Would highly recommend a visit.

Very cute hotel in a very charming plaza. The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is very good with amazing food and service. The hotel staff is amazing, paramount and super nice and ready to help you when you need it and I needed it.

Ein tolles, modern und zeitgemäß eingerichtetes Hotel mit einer historischen Fassade direkt am Marktplatz (Mittwoch und Samstag). Von der Terrasse hat man ein wunderbaren Blick auf den Marktplatz. Es ist ruhig legen, aber man ist mittendrin in der Margarethenhöhe. Wundervoll restaurierte Häuser mit geschmackvollen kleinen Gärten und vielen Blumen - einzigartig in Essen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt - ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Terrasse lädt an einem warmen Sommerabend zum lecker essen umd verweilen ein. Nette Mitarbeiter, gutes Essen und die hausgemachte Apfellimonade ist köstlich. Was will man mehr?! Lieben Dank auch für die Hilfe bei der Tagesplanung. Der Tip mit der Führung war spitze

Wir waren mit der Familie auf Familienbesuch in Essen und haben dafür das perfekte Hotel ausgewählt. Wir haben uns hier wie zu Hause gefühlt. Sehr warme und herzliche Atmosphäre. Idylische Umgebung und ein tolles Restaurant. Wir haben hier einen Abend gespeist und es war eine runde und sehr leckere Sache. Menü sehr empfehlenswert
