Nesselrod on the New

Bed and breakfast location is unique with old style wooden furniture, clean with an attentive owner. Breakfast with other guest in the morning on the same large table presents itself as a good opportunity to meet and share experiences.

We stopped at this b&b on our way from Philly to Asheville, and it was wonderful! Gorgeous decor in the Oriental Lily room, very comfortable bed and great soaking tub. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and Jeff was really friendly and communicative, and flexible about check-in. Highly recommend if you’re passing through. Great value.

Nesselrod on the New is a great change of pace from a corporate hotel. The grounds of the facility are really nice. Jeff, the owner, does an excellent job.

Stayed here for a night to break up a road trip. Such a wonderful alternative to a cheap next-to-a-highway no frills hotel. Room was gorgeous, host Jeff was so helpful and friendly, and what can beat a made-to-order breakfast? It was all perfect and wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay in the lilac room. The property is beautiful. Breakfast was great. I'll pass on a reference to anyone traveling to this area.

Nesselrod on the New is a lovely and comfortable inn. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The home is very clean and pretty inside and outside. The innkeeper is so kind and down-to-earth. He's very helpful about local restaurants and local places. My only suggestion for improvement is to upgrade the pillows on the twin beds, include more soap and tissues in the bathroom I will definitely stay here again even if I need to bring my own pillow and box of tissues.

It was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The room was amazing. I felt peace.

Great host, charming room, and a breakfast that carries you through 'til dinner.

Never been to a bed and breakfast before this and loved it.The place was very nice and well maintained. The owner Jeff was very helpful and had a wonderful fresh made hot breakfast for us in the morning. The room was beautifully decorated. We relaxed on the patio and enjoyed the evening. On the downside it was located close to highway so traffic noice was a little noisy at night.
