Three Horseshoes Country Inn

Totally chilled, relaxed and rested after spending 48 hours at the three horseshoes. Many elements contributed to the experience including lovely staff, great service, super venue and great food. So impressed with every aspect of our stay 🥰

Had a voucher for an afternoon tea at 1p.m to be told when we got there that they don't do afternoon tea till 3 p.m. No- one tried to contact me to tell me this. The managers answer to this was you can stay for a meal but you have to pay. Do not recommend

Took my mum for a spa day and we were really happy with all of the facilities (the treatments, hot tub, lounge area, plunge pool, sauna and steam room)! The staff were lovely and we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea afterwards in the inn where we were catered for as vegetarians!

Stayed overnight for a dine and stay booked a surprise birthday gift on the 1st-2nd April. We stayed in a pub room (301) check in an info before arrival was great. The room it self was on the top floor over looking the roof with noisy LG fans outside the window. Room was very warm, so warm that we slept just under the blanket we brought. Couldn’t open the window due to the noise. However if you looked past in the view is lovely. Little outdated and didn’t really match the bathroom. Ceiling had a crack in it and one of the cushions on the bed had a very obvious stain on it. How it was missed I don’t know. Mattress was rather hard and bed squeaky. Kettle on the tea tray didn’t reach the plug socket, luckily we always pack an extension cable. Selection though and hot chocolate sachets were a nice touch. Quite quiet, hardly any noise. WiFi although free needs upgrading as it didn’t work in the room. Staff who served our evening meal were lovely, polite and friendly making us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our food. One of the ladies say they don’t do small portions and she wasn’t wrong, we couldn’t eat all our chips. The creme egg mini egg cheesecake looked lovely shame I couldn’t fit it in. Prices for upgrades and drinks were a lot better than we expected. Breakfast was great too, really nice food and again a big portion. The very friendly man who served us was lovely good selection of continental breakfast just a shame the croissants had been cooked in advance and gone hard toast wasn’t provided with the full English as advertised but wasn’t needed due to size. Toaster round the corner was set a little high and burnt the toast. Bar staff are so nice too, they provided us with a bottle of water to take to the room which unfortunately didn’t stay cold. I had my gel toenails done staff were very friendly and chatty. The lady I had was lovely. I did get a nice Happy Birthday message but nothing special really didn’t feel any different to any other normal day. Would visit again but maybe upgrade the room.

The second visit to this establishment and it didn't disappoint. The hotel has a great location with fabulous views to the Roaches. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious, well equipped and have very comfortable beds. The shower was extremely good. The 2 course evening meal we had was very good and breakfast was also tasty. The help one of our party, who has special dietary requirements, had with sorting out a suitable evening meal was commendable.

Visited in June and returned because such a fantastic pub/ hotel , great food , staff friendly and gsoh. We are foodies and travel alot just for food 😋 couldn't fault pub grub orange duck was delicious.rooms lovely n clean n comfy. Will be visiting again

We stayed as part of a Buyagift voucher (stay with a hot tub, evening meal, breakfast and spa use the following day). A very minor point with the spa is that the Buyagift I had, expressed half an hour longer than the spa confirmation - but was rectified. Spa staff very friendly and spa clean & relaxing. I had dietary needs and expressed this on the booking form ahead of arriving. The evening meal had limited options for vegetarians but was okay, nothing special. Our waiter was lovely and made the experience so much nicer. There were no veggie alternatives to the meat at breakfast. We read veggie sausages could have been provided. The floor still looked it needed sweeping but service was brilliant. Good coffee and oatcakes. The room has started to show signs of wear, very firm bed and pillows. Bathroom had started to grow mould on the grout and window, some hair in plug of shower. Otherwise clean and presented well. The room was a little noisy - a mechanical sound overnight. But perhaps the hot tub warming? Very minor but tv is hard to see in its location from bed - but very minor. Little cosy hot tub which is overlooked from above but we had no neighbours which was nice. Nice touch to include plastic wine glasses and dressing gowns. Bits of toilet paper on stair well. Brilliant location and friendly staff.

Had a lovely weekend at the three horseshoes. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception who was extremely helpful with all our queries. We had a classic room which was very nice, clean with a big bathroom. The only down side there was no view and the shower wasn't powerful and we couldn't get the water very hot. However the room had everything you would expect. The food was beautiful especially the Sunday carvery which we changed to rather than an evening meal. It is worth booking. The bar area is wonderful with a lovely traditional feel. We did use the spa which was nice and unusual. However it was expensive and would not use it again. Staff are lovely and attentive and really help to make your stay enjoyable. A good walk just a 3min drive was the tittesworth reservoir. You have to pay and disply for parking so if you are going to do the big reservoir walk you would need more than 2 hours parking especially as there's a very nice cafe at the end. Overall a very nice stay and excellent value.
