The Reception area is very attractive but the décor in our room was extremely scrappy and the room was dirty in places. The wall covering in the shower was coming off the wall, lights did not work, the bathroom accessories were very rusty and the air conditioning unit started dripping water into our room at 1.50 am. This was a constant heavy drip and the floor soon became flooded. We had to place towels and a bin to catch the water and had to turn the air con off for the rest of the night. The dining area in the hotel was like a canteen and there was extremely limited food selection which was of a very poor quality. We and other members of the tour decided to eat out in a local restaurant rather than suffer the poor quality food on the second night.

One word sums it up: grim. Beds and pillows were rock hard. Dinners were horrible. Breakfasts were better and were edible. No AC. Loud street noise. Black mold in shower. Drapes falling off hooks. This was an upgraded hotel on a tour that was billed as a four star. Yikes. We were there for 2 nights and it was rough at best. Stay elsewhere.

Stayed 2 nights at this mid range hotel as part of a coach tour of Morocco. It was fine, the plumbing worked, the room was clean. It was too far away to walk to the medina. They did not serve alcohol. I'm not sure if they served proper coffee at the hotel, that at the breakfast buffet was terrible, we walked to a pool hall a few properties down the street for a lovely coffee.

Good location with access to shops and shopping centers, clean rooms however the wooden doors and floor were damaged and needed to be repaired. nice and friendly stuff, decent breakfast and dinner. Bed, mattress and pillows were comfy and clean.

The lights went off in the stairwell while climbing to our first floor room requiring a tap on the switch to reset the timer. Room was large, old and stuffy. Air conditioning control is locked and was not possible to change any settings. Two bedside lamps wired in behind the switch, and neither one works and unable to fix “until tomorrow, inshalla”. Leatherette chairs and floor worn and bathroom grouting dirty. Food is very basic and the worst we have had so far on this trip. No coffee maker or kettle in the room. If this was $1 a night I would stay here again, perhaps.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. Notable is the receptionist Amine, who went extra mile in getting for us the phone charging adopter from outside and made sure that all our needs are met to our fullest satisfaction.

This is probably about a 3.5 star hotel and is quite pleasant, especially the public areas. The best thing about it is the fact that it is only about a 10 minute walk to the Ramada which has a great bar - a rarity in Morocco! Apart from the shower head falling off and bruising my wife's foot the rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic but adequate. All in all, not a bad hotel.

Stayed two nights. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and clean. There was a cute balcony with a table and chairs but it overlooked a busy street with nothing special to look at. The room did not provide bottled water to brush teeth and had minimal toiletries. The beds were very hard. The restaurant was sub par with a very limited buffet. The restaurant was also very hot.

We stayed at the Atlas Saiss for two nights, and we have mixed reviews. The good: The front desk staff were super sweet and eager to help. The hotel on first glance had a nice appearance to it on the inside. The lobby was clean and spacious, and the restaurant and common areas were kept clean--something that wasn't always the case at some of the other hotels we stayed at on our tour. The rooms looked large, and the bedroom area was clean and well-kept. We also had a nice balcony, and an in-room safe that was actually screwed down! The bad: There was no air conditioning in the restaurant, and our bedroom's air conditioning wasn't very good either. It became as hot as Hades in the restaurant when we ate dinner., and we had to leave our balcony door open a good portion of the night to let some air in. Unfortunately the noise from the road made us have to close the door so that we could sleep; but because it was warm, sleep wasn't wonderful. The temperature of the water in our shower was very finicky and only on occasion warmed up to a comfortable temperature. The shower walls in our room were coated in a wallpaper that had what felt like mushy cork-board behind it. It was from a poorly done renovation and that wall was completely sodden and riddled in mold. The selection of food for breakfast and dinner was not as plentiful as what was served to us at other 4 star hotels, and the quality of the food was inconsistent--some dishes were delicious, and some dishes were frankly gross. If I had to visit Fez again, I may or may not stay here again, but I certainly would choose to eat elsewhere.
