Beautiful, newly renovated, Inn, right in the middle of the Historic District. The INN has 5 rooms- all redone, including new, modern bathrooms. The location is great- about 1/2 mile from downtown and a short walk to the river or the Edison Estate. within a block there is a craft brewery with outdoor seating (Coastal Dayz) and a breakfast /lunch spot. The Inn was exceptionally clean and the remote check-in and communication was flawless. The on-site day staff were charming, but not intrusive. The linens were high end, and the breakfast was more than continental- eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, etc. Cookies in the evening were a nice touch and we appreciated the bottles of water and candy set out 24/7. Also lots of information about the area was available in the nicely appointed common areas and on-site parking was a plus. My husband told me it was the nicest place we have stayed and we certainly would go back if in the area.

Our experience was almost the same as chronicled in DayTrip43359550232's review. Apparently, there is a small one line on the establishments website that indicates that they no longer serve a breakfast. We found out when we received the check-in procedures on the day we arrived. Other issues include: The carpet in the Jasmine, Bougainvilla, and Orchid rooms are very dirty and worn and need to be replaced. The exterior is in the early stages of disrepair. The outside of the building needs cleaning and painting. The shrubbery is overgrown and there is significant vegetation debris on the ground. There are cracks and upward expansion in the concrete walkway around the building. The walkway appears to have been painted and is very slippery when wet. The water in the Orchid room was lukewarm at 9:30 p.m. The person we contacted via text advised that they don't have that problem and we could use a different shower if we would like and the hot water heater is new. We suspect the water heater is on a timer and by late evening the water has cooled. (We were the only occupants of the Inn during our one night stay and never saw an employee or owner). Out contact person advised there was a new owner as of 8/7/2023. A look at the 2024 reservation calendar shows that the rates will be increased about 40% (we paid $210) and a seven night stay will be required. There are not an adequate number of activities in the area to justify a seven night stay. IMO.

Check in instructions were communicated clearly and afterwards we received many emails which made further direct communication with staff stress free. Location was good. Roughly 15 minutes from a quaint downtown area. The property was in immaculate condition and organized. It offered a comfortable king size bed with oversized pillows. The bathroom amenities were clean, contemporary and up to date. Shower pressure was ample. We did hear traffic from the street all during our stay. The only ice cube tray lay empty face down in the freezer so we had no ice and each time we flushed the toilet a fairly loud noise like metal hitting porcelain could be heard. Overall it was a very good stay.

The Bougainvillea room was beautiful and so clean and cozy. The noise was a little load being close to the street in early morning but the amazing breakfast made up for that. Will definitely stay here again. Love how close it is to downtown restaurants, shops, and beach.

Beautiful, very clean, comfortable B&B in convenient area with free onsite parking. The bed and bathroom were amazing - huge shower. The staff was communicative and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. (Orchid room) Highly recommend.

Comfortable bed, tasteful furnishings, big bathroom with all what we need. Ab breakfast-selection which i want to compare with Garden Eden or Paradise. Absolutly great!!!
