Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Nakasu Kawabata

The location is great and quiet. There's a McDonald's, a big supermarket, and a beauty store within a five-minute walk. Hakata Station is a fifteen-minute walk, and the Anpanman Children's Museum, Nakasu-Kawabata Station, and Gofukumachi Station are all within a ten-minute walk. However, the cleanliness is a bit... The toilet on the first floor was very dirty, and the toilet in the room always had a bad smell, so I had to keep the lid closed. The cleaning staff even left their own trash in the room. I guess Tokyo and Osaka have different standards for cleanliness. I admit my expectations might have been a bit high, but I'm definitely not a picky person. Honestly, I might still book this place again in Fukuoka because it's so convenient and offers a peaceful escape from the busy area.

The room type is a bit small; opening a 30-inch suitcase was a bit difficult. There were hairs on the bed, so I feel the cleanliness needs improvement. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to JR Hakata Station, and Nakasu subway station is right nearby. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel also offers dinner options. However, check-in was a bit slow, often requiring a wait, and the interns seemed a bit confused.

The hotel isn't far from Tenjin, and there are a few convenience stores nearby for daily essentials. The room on a high floor offered a great view. If I get the chance to visit Fukuoka again, I'll definitely stay here.
