I was very disappointed at the hotel. The good things were the helpful staff and peaceful surroundings. There is not a gym or snack bar as advertised. My room has a tv which did not work. Only western food is available with very limited variety and no menu. Icecream and chocolate were unavailable. I had to walk 200m away to make a phone call as Mobitel coverage was not available. On check out I was told they only accept Sri Lankan cash - no card payment. I suspect this is to avoid paying card fees . When I made the booking I was told that card payment was available. I had to withdraw cash from an ATM on the way to the airport to pay the driver without being given a receipt. If you decide to book there make sure you take cash with you.
