Wonderfully decorated, incredibly large Sauna, super clean, fantastic food. The overall styling is Traditional Switzerland decor with a modern twist. We are in our 40’s and honeymooning. Loved our experience.

What a chef, Peter. And the Schmitte is also highly recommended for wine and cigar lovers. We are excited about the future with Huus Quell. An amazing project, probably unique in terms of sustainability, wellness and lifestyle.

The hotel is very nice and very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. The breakfast is excellent (croissant, cheese, eggs). We get a train card, and the train station is 2 min walk from the hotrl.

Perfect! From location to the staff, our business trip was perfect. We all recommend you to stay at this hotel. Rooms, restaurant, wine…and the chocolat that we found in our room…just a dream! The staff so friendly and competent..we thank you all!

Excellent boutique hotel, close to many hiking routes. Very good service and good quality breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit and cheese and ham from the region. Service was excellent, particularly Monica! Hotel was very clean, the rooms very nice and modern with good showers. We will be back.

The room, facing the road, was ok but quite small. And: we had the doubtful pleasure to follow the conversations of our room neighbors next door via the bathroom. And: there is quite some traffic even during the night. And: the church just across the street rings the bells every hour and salutes the new day with a special effort at 6:30 in the morning!? Calm? Forget it. The tablet provided has a well organized content but was dusty to the point of us not really wanting to touch it. Overall cleanliness of the room could have been better. There are so many pillows and a huge neck roll on the bed: it is a challenge to store them somewhere in the room before one can go to sleep. A definite highlight is the restaurant. Top quality food, perfect and pleasant service. Their wine menu consists of 76 (!!???) pages. Ok, it might please the Sommelier but is way over the top for normal connoisseurs like us. Less would be more. Would we recommend a stay at the Bären to our friends? No.
