Chose this hotel as it is near walking distance from the Gotemba station where it is the meeting point for the Mt Fuji hike. The hotel is simple, decent size room for a comfortable stay.
You can actually have a lovely view of Mt Fuji just outside the hotel front.
It is also within walking distance to the shuttle bus stop where there is a complimentary shuttle bus to bring you to the Gotemba Premium Outlet. You can easily spend the whole day shopping and having your meals at the Outlet.

Business style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer.
The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car.
There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try
