This is one of the most lovely spots on Eleuthera. Everything was pristine and well kept. The views were breathtaking and we sat on a bench at the edge of cliff nightly to watch the sun set. But what makes this different are the people...Big O Angie Miss J WOW and thank you

An amazing property with a beautiful tranquil beach, friendly employees that make every effort to make your stay memorable. The dining is excellent, must haves are the sea scallop, grouper, duck, boil fish and crawfish sushi!!! The sunset is so beautiful you will want to experience it every night your there. The thoughtful welcome tokens add a special touch. I l just left and already looking forward to returning. An exceptional experience

The location is incredible as are the 2 private beaches. The food was also top notch. One big complaint we had was that the day we checked in we noticed there was major construction on a new unit they were building. Wee were not made aware of any ongoing construction when we booked. After we complained that the work stated at 7:30m AM and lasted until 4:30PM they stopped the work for one hour. After three days of it we had had enough. We stayed in Room 29 which ran over $1300.00 a night. When we checked out they did give a credit of $400.00 for the noise. I expect other guest had the same complaint as you could hear the construction everywhere at the resort. Also, most of the concrete block paths that connect the restaurant and the villas are in bad need of repair.

If the entire island of Eleuthera is a resort, The Cove at Eleuthera is heaven on earth. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you will notice that there is not much of a reason to leave the property. This is an ideal place to connect with nature, eachother and yourself. The serene atmosphere feels almost magical and encourages relaxation. The property and its rooms are beautiful and very well maintained. There are countless different activities as well as picturesque quiet spots where one can take it all in. The Cove's beaches are safe and comfortable and the water is ideal for swimming. This resort is not crowded because the property is vast and the number of rooms is limited. You will feel like a VIP anywhere you go on the property. The cuisine and cocktails deserve 5 stars all by themselves. All of the food and drinks were fresh and made to order. I don't think you could find better food or drinks anywhere on the island. The entire staff was outgoing and friendly, they will honor almost any request you make. If you like to stargaze, snorkel, swim, spa, kayak or just lounge in paradise then this is the ultimate destination on Eleuthera. The hotel is happy to arrange transportation and excursions as well if you decide to venture off the property and explore.

Good location but that’s about it. Beds were way too soft and uncomfortable and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. My water pressure was weak as well. Staff was very pleasant but inept. I left my corporate card at the restaurant and went to get it in the AM. I asked front desk and the wait staff then scoured my room missing breakfast trying to find it. Of course they had it the whole time but didn’t communicate. For $900/night I don’t think so. Fail.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at the Cove. Grounds are beautiful, staff is super accommodating, food was great, and weather was perfect. Things to know if you are planning a trip: It's a small resort, and seemed family friendly. If you want to relax and unwind it's absolutely perfect; don't expect tons of nightlife and activities. Location is pretty remote - nothing within walking distance. If you leave the resort you'll either need to rent a car or take a taxi. We used the same taxi - Mr Wallace - all week which worked perfectly for us. Besides reliably getting us where we needed to be he told us all about the island. We stayed in a Grand Oceanfront room. Highly recommend it - pics are attached, the room is spacious and looks right onto the water. Gorgeous views. And the enclosed outdoor shower is a treat. There is an outside bar carved into the point that is only open at night for a couple hours around sunset. Watching a sunset from the bar is a must! Great drinks, great view, and the bartenders were all incredibly friendly. Food at the resort was fantastic and seemed healthy as well; lots of the produce is locally sourced. It's pricey but no more than you would expect at an upscale resort. Special shout out to Melina - she helped us plan a number of day trips and was so accommodating as we worked through logistics. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff - we had a great stay and highly recommend!

This resort is not one I would recommend. The pricing is that of an exclusive high end resort, but the infrastructure is limited and the activities which are also quite limited and you are much better off in nearby Harbor Island at similar pricing and much more extensive beaches and activities and restaurants. The Cove has a single restaurant at the resort and when we there the restaurant was often empty despite the rooms occupancy being at capacity. Its about 300 dollars a meal for our family of 4 with no alcohol and the food while quite good, does require about a 2.5 hour time commitment due to the less than efficient staff. The rooms are pretty bad for the money in terms of essentially futons on the ground for beds, and musty and rusty showers and tile caulk. The beaches are tiny and rocky with a few kayaks and paddleboards. Not really competitive with other locations nearby on harbor island or in the bahamas throughout the islands in general where the pink sand goes for miles. Additionally they have a 'sometimes on property manager' named Carlton Russell who is generally clueless as to the issues guests have getting simple services like room cleaning accomplished. This is the only place I've ever stayed where the rooms are dirty all day and then around 7pm housekeeping comes, but only if you've been calling for them since 4pm. Otherwise they are a no show. They have figured out how to combine cleaning the room with turn down service! Its pretty shoddy for the pricing. Most families that we met spent most of their time off property. This place would be OK at 400 per night USD for couples looking for quiet, who don't mind fairly high quality but very expensive food, and want to read all day and not be active. The other properties in this ownership group are pretty good. The Tides, Enchantment, Twin Farms have all figured out the 1.5 hr dinner and lunch and the idea that rooms should ideally be cleaned before 1pm. Hopefully the owners will turn their attention to the sloppy way The Cove is being administered.

Beautiful location. Pricey for what you get. Grounds need work, rooms are great. Food was very good. Service was mostly good. Renovation coming we here, good news. Would go back. Definitely for couples

I was expecting a luxurious stay, I was disappointed. Upon arrival we were not greeted with drinks or food. We had travel delays and missed our first night’s stay- the resort did not offer any compensation- not even a free drink. We were exceptionally bothered by the restaurant manager who refused to serve our 17 year old daughter a pina coloda. Not only did he card her at our family dinner, he returned to our table the next morning and called us liars for ordering her a pina coloda. Honestly, we are paying 2 thousand dollars a night- I expect tact and discretion from the staff. He also tried to turn us away from dinner, claiming he didn’t have a reservation for us. We certainly did have reservations, but he made us feel embarrassed and he stuffed us into a very small crowed table. This is not the service I paid for. I will say the rooms are lovely and the majority of the staff is helpful and friendly. The food is good but overpriced.
