The room smells… room service food not up to standard… besides that, it’s good…

As my wife and I celebrated a special occasion during our recent stay at The Westin Guangzhou, we were met with an extraordinary experience that went beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious, offering contemporary decor and luxurious comfort. The captivating city views added an extra touch of enchantment to our stay. The plush bedding and indulgent amenities ensured that we had a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep.
What made our stay truly exceptional was the hotel's personalized service. Upon checking in, I casually mentioned that it was my wife's birthday. Little did we know that the Westin Guangzhou would exceed our expectations by surprising her with a magnificent birthday cake. Lovely stay in this pleasant city. Overall great stay, rooms had great views, gym was lovely, however bar did not stay open past 10pm（on Saturday night).

Food is not on standard especially the Western restaurant at 40F, they serve Italy cuisine but with less variety. The taste and cooking method of is not traditional enough especially the spaghetti bolongnese.

Reach 1:50pm. Was told room not readly needed to wait 1hour +. Will give me a call when ready. Waited till 3:20pm. Still no call, walk to counter ask till say room is ready. As good will, was given a free breakfast.
Another thing that I don’t like is they set the aircon to only 23deg, which at midnight it seem to be hot. You not able to to down the temperature further. Location to metro, 5min walk
To hotel Next time, please set your aircon 21deg.

I lost my watch and the manager found it for us. They are very sweet and helpful.. The food in the buffet is a bit tricky because some seafood is just for display, but we managed to ask for grilled salmon. 🥰

The room is quite spacious. But the shower is quite old and a little bit dirty . Also the sofa is quite old too .
