We loved this place. It so relax. We did not want to to check out :) because it so brilliant place.

Located in woods which provide a private and tranquil getaway from busy area. The food is traditional Japanese cuisine which is very nice and delicious. The bath, both in room and public space, is super comfortable and relaxing. Staff are all very nice and helpful. Highly Recommended.

The hotel owners are very nice. Fast and smooth communication. Good location. Clean and new facilities. Quiet and comfortable room. With carpark. Many restaurants and shops nearby. 5 stars hotel!

The hotel is a bit hard to find. There are convenient stores nearby, just take a few minutes walk. The room is clean. No lift, it’s a bit tough if you need to take a heavy luggage to second floor. Lol Overall, it’s a great hotel. The food in the restaurant is great. Good Japanese experience for us.

Nice food, nice room

We submitted a request to book dinner through Ctrip on April 5! Then we got a reply saying that it had been conveyed to the store! We checked in on April 15. The front desk English was very poor and we could hardly communicate. We relied on a friend to help translate on the phone to find out that the dinner reservation was not successful. They said that Ctrip sent garbled code. In short, there was no way to add meals temporarily without our meals! OK, we decided to go out for dinner after checking in, and didn’t want to affect our mood! As a result, we found out that they didn’t have an elevator after taking the key, and we needed to carry our luggage to the second floor! This is a big bad review! I was even more dumbfounded when I entered the room. The room was not big, I can understand it, after all, Japanese hotel rooms are generally not big! I can accept that the private bath is on the outdoor balcony. I already knew it when I booked! But what shocked me was that the shower was also outdoors! The temperature in Hakone that night was one degree above zero and the wind was very strong. It was impossible to take a shower. It was really too cold! The private bath was good. The skin was smooth after the bath. The breakfast was also OK. The attitude of the restaurant waiter was quite good! But I won't go there again. We didn't make a reservation for dinner, and the hotel said it was Ctrip's fault. I don't want to find out whose fault it was, because we had a great time eating at a Japanese restaurant in Hakone that night! As long as we are full, I don't really care whether we eat in the hotel! But the outdoor shower and the lack of an elevator to carry luggage upstairs are two major flaws, which really spoils the fun and is extremely inconvenient!

The room is not big, but it is quite clean. Japanese-style hot spring hotel rooms are not big, which is understandable. The public hot spring pool is OK, but the indoor private hot spring is a bit too cold. It is quite refreshing to soak in the hot spring while watching the snow, except that it is a bit cold.

The environment is excellent, both the outdoor environment of the hotel and the view inside the room are very good, especially the outdoor bath. As for the service, the service of several Chinese guys is very good, but the service of the Japanese front desk is just average, maybe because of the language barrier. The food is really average, and the facilities are relatively old. We originally wanted to spread the bedding in the cupboard on the tatami, but found that the sheets had not been changed and there was hair on it.
