Hakone Gora Karaku

The worst luxury hotel in history! The overall service is very poor, they can't speak English, and they completely ignore the guests. My five-month-old son's face was all red and swollen because he slept on their bedding. He cried for several nights. My husband was also red and swollen. I went to the hotel front desk, but they refused to deal with it, refused to admit it, refused to change the bedding, and did not provide any medicine. A bunch of people were still giggling there. They treated a five-month-old baby like this. It can be said that they are inhumane! ! ! Until the end, their manager never came out. He had a cold face, shirked responsibility, and did not deal with it. This is the worst and most inhumane hotel we have felt in Japan after so many times! Besides, the food is basically not enough, and the price of extra food and drink is 4-5 times that of outside! If you go with children, it is strongly recommended to be cautious. It is a completely inhumane hotel without service! There is no child bed!

I booked for others and they were very satisfied. They didn't report any problems. They were also very satisfied with the surrounding travel and tourism. I will still give priority to this hotel next time.

I recommend walking to a nearby dumpling restaurant for dinner. It tastes very good. The public open-air hot spring is great, and the private hot spring in your room is also great, with great privacy. The only drawback was that the bed was too soft and I had lower back pain when I woke up the next day. Overall very good

Although the room is a bit compact, as is the case with most Japanese hotels, the hotel is in a great location. The lobby and restaurant are on the 8th floor, and the view of the entire Kyoto is great!

The hotel is very close to Gora Station. It takes only 4 minutes to walk to the hotel. The staff's service attitude is very good. When we walked to the hotel, they were already waiting for us on the ramp. We were greeted with snacks and drinks when we entered the hotel, so we didn't have to queue to check in. Check out, as soon as you sit down, you will be greeted. I booked 1 hotel room and 2 meals. I chose Japanese food for dinner and Western food for breakfast. Both meals were of a very high standard. The view of Hakone Mountain from the breakfast was very comfortable. Originally I thought about traveling around Hakone on the first day, but ended up spending the whole day in the hotel. The hotel environment is so comfortable. You can hear the sound of running water on the terrace. I will definitely book 2 nights next time.
