Hangzhou Xingdu Hotel

This four-star hotel offers incredible value for money, despite being modestly called a 'guesthouse.' The lobby is spacious and bright upon entry, and the service is excellent with a quick check-in process. It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, but if you're arriving in Hangzhou by high-speed rail, you can just take the subway directly to the hotel and it's only about a ten-minute walk from there – very easy to find. When you check in, you get complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning and tea on the 17th floor in the afternoon. The soundproofing is great, and the room is nice and cool. The value for money and service are definitely five-star quality. The breakfast spread is extensive, and during the Mid-Autumn Festival, including a double meal, one night was only 400 yuan, which was an amazing deal. It's also very convenient for visiting West Lake.

The hotel has a rather low-profile exterior, but the rooms are nice and the location is great. Above all, the service is exceptional. During our two-night stay, the floor attendant on the 10th floor greeted us warmly every time we met, and the room was kept spotlessly clean. The female receptionist at the restaurant was also incredibly helpful and even ordered soup dumplings for us. This is definitely a hotel I will choose to stay at again next time I visit Hangzhou.

My family of three stayed for one night during the National Day holiday, and it was a pretty good experience. They offered complimentary coffee and afternoon tea, and the buffet breakfast was exceptionally luxurious. The only minor drawback is that the facilities are a tiny bit dated, but overall, it was a wonderful stay.

The overall experience was great as always, offering excellent value for money. If I visit Hangzhou again, I'd likely choose this hotel. The service was fantastic; I accidentally scalded myself with hot water, and a kind auntie from the breakfast restaurant even brought me burn ointment, which I really appreciated. It's also quite close to West Lake and other attractions.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied, but there are two areas that need improvement: 1. The newly changed bed sheets had bloodstains! That was really off-putting! 2. Also, the short-haired auntie working at the breakfast buffet was very rude. She broke a dish and shards flew out, almost injuring a guest. There was no apology or any attempt to rectify the situation. When arranging chairs, she was even more aggressive, practically throwing them next to guests. I was eating at the time and was quite startled! The restaurant service really needs attention!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Hangzhou East Railway Station and not far from the subway entrance, making travel incredibly convenient. What's even better is that they didn't arbitrarily raise prices during the National Day holiday, offering great value for money. The breakfast is particularly commendable, with a rich variety of dishes that change daily. When the restaurant was busy during the holiday, the staff proactively helped us find seats. Even close to the end of breakfast hours, the kitchen continued to replenish the food, which left a great impression. The room was clean and tidy. Since there were three of us, the cleaning aunt thoughtfully provided two extra bottles of drinking water – a very touching detail. Because our return high-speed train was scheduled late, I tried my luck asking the front desk for a late checkout, and they processed it very readily. From housekeeping to the restaurant and the front desk, you can feel that the hotel genuinely cares for its guests, with attentive and thorough service. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Hangzhou!

Not bad at all! The breakfast manager on the 4th floor provided excellent service. The overall hotel experience exceeded my expectations! The lobby is spacious and bright with elegant decor. The front desk staff were quick to respond and check-in was very efficient. A special shout-out to the restaurant manager for their thoughtful and attentive service. They proactively asked about our dining experience, responded promptly to requests, paid attention to details, and were both gentle and professional. The food quality was consistent, and the dining environment was clean and comfortable. The entire service made us feel very comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The biggest surprise was the attentive front desk service; they not only upgraded my room but also offered complimentary coffee ☕️. The staff on the 11th floor even provided a fresh fruit platter and drinks, and their service was warm, patient, and responsive to every request. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting to attractions by taxi or subway, and there are many restaurants nearby. It happened to rain during my visit to Hangzhou, and the misty rain created a beautiful, atmospheric scene. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Hangzhou ✨.

The location is great, within walking distance of West Lake Cultural Plaza, and less than 3 kilometers by taxi to Broken Bridge. It's child-friendly, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into their operations for the National Day holiday, with National Day balloons, cotton candy, and more. They also offer tea and coffee vouchers. The soundproofing between adjacent rooms is excellent.
