The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked us a transfer for 5 people to the airport for just 300k. About a 20 minute walk to train street and local markets.

Stayed here as part of a group of 3 with 2 rooms. Upon arrival we received a welcome drink and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly along with his staff. Offered to help us book the Ha Giang Loop which we had done already prior to arrival. 5* service and the rooms had English Plugs which was great too!

Do yourself a favour and do not book this hotel. Our stay in Feb 2023 was one for the books. Everything the manager of the hotel said she was going to do we for the most part had trouble with making any of it happen. She would promise things and never deliver. She would not answer the phone or reply to text. And, she would pass everything on her assistant Rosy who had no power to do anything about it. All we heard on many occasions is that they were sorry. Terrible customer service and very disappointing.

We really enjoyed our time in the Old town Hanoi. Golden Sail staff were fantastic and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The street was noisy but our room was surprisingly quiet. We would return.

Shocking experience, we got in around 10pm to find they had given someone else our room and then transported us to the sister hotel ‘paradise hotel’ which was horrible, there were construction going on the entire stay starting very early and then leaving very late so there was constant noise, the power shut off twice in the building so we were in darkness, the hotel was dirty and the shower you had to hold the hose up to as it wouldn’t stand in the correct direction. We only stayed for 4 nights but if we would have stayed any longer we would have checked into another hotel. It was the worst stay I have had in Vietnam

I’m slightly loathed to do this, as in all other respects the hotel is good, but there is building work going on next door and it is genuinely unbelievable how noisy it is. The shared walls are paper-thin and we are woken by the sounds of builders brining their equipment on site at around 06:45. What sounds like pneumatic drilling starts before 07:00 and goes on virtually non-stop until after 18:00. In the lobby and breakfast hall it is occasionally so loud that you can’t have a conversation at a normal volume. It is almost farcical how loud it is. The reception team are trying their best and are being as helpful as they can, but this place should not be open at the moment.

Building work next door that finished at midnight and started again about 7am.. avoid staying here for atleast a month. Staff were apologetic and breakfast very good . But dont stay here if you want to relax or evening considering sleeping Staff were helpful

Very nice place, great location, nice helpful staff, would definitely recommend 👍 Location is near the old quarter, and the lake. Accessible to all the historical sightw also such as the Hoa Lo prison and the temple of literature. Nice rooms also.

Clean hotel with really friendly and engaging staff. Great central location easy to get to bars restaurants and museums. Staff were very accommodating and helped us out with local information and recommendations. Would stay again and reccomend to friends.
