Hotel is very basic. It’s close to a McDonalds for breakfast and Sainsbury’s for things you may need. The hotel is not so well insulated for sound and can be noisy.

Very comfy bed. Right in the place we needed it as not far from family location. Nice peaceful sleep. Good brand coffee and tea. Close to shops. Not enough towels or tea and coffee.

Not the most appealing from the outside but inside clean and pleasant. We arrived at 2.50. Myself husband and my 91 year old mother. We had been travelling for 4 hours and were looking forward to checking in and having a rest. I approached the counter and gave my name etc. the young man behind the counter told me it would be £10 per room for an early check in. I said it was only 10 mins early as check in was 3pm but he said it was company policy and made us stand and wait there until exactly 3pm. I felt this was totally unreasonable especially as we have stayed in many premier inns before and have never had this before. I fully understand the company has its policies but 10 mins early sure the staff can use their own initiative. Apart from the bad start the staff were helpful in organising rooms next to each other.

Used this hotel as a convenient place to stay while meeting up with family. Room was large and clean although they do not do housekeeping unless you ask for it , but as we were only stayin 2 nights not too concerned although would have been nice to have clean cups. Breakfast was self service plenty of choice although the cooked was quite cold and dried up!

The main reception was clean and smelt amazing. Our room was also clean and smelt amazing. The toilet was not noisy at all when flushing, the toilet paper holder could have been further up the wall it was a little low and hard to see the toilet paper coming out. All our bed were comfortable there wasn’t much sugar for two people on a two night stay. But we were not to fussed about this. The main thing we worried about was driving into the junction. If there was a car coming out the pot hole is unavoidable. Other than the massive hole at the front it was a lovely stay with lovely staff. Thank you. 😁

The hotel was busy. All the staff were most helpful and cheerful. My room was warm without the need for extra heating. The bed was extremely comfortable although I do find the duvets very heavy and hot. Perhaps a choice of an alternative tog might be offered if ordered on booking.

Unfortunately, there going through a change of providers with there Internet, Staff still learning the new system, and it sounds a little complicated to me. The staff made up for it as there pleasant, and will to help so the short fall s are easy forgiven.. I did request ground floor but was put on the 2nd floor but near lift, so just as good i guess, my only bug bear was i did send an email requesting and got a reply about my needs, and one of the staff said we never got it, yet they replied. So if you need to make a request by email, take a copy of said email with you. Apart from that all good

Friendly and helpful staff The hotel and room looked tired and in need of decoration Shower intermittent with hot and cold water, the climb into the bath to shower felt unstable as if the bath would break. The toilet paper dispenser was blocked and I had to open it at the top. The walk to the room you need a compass poorly signposted and up and down stairs to get to room number 110.
