They accommodated our late check-in with detailed photos and instructions and we felt like we had what we needed for a good nights rest. Only thing missing was a fan or some way to move the warm air through the room.

Nice and cozy place. We stayed there for a week in a business trip. Rooms are comfy, service is good and staff members are really helpful. I really liked the breakfast, a lot of choice and healthy. Didn't have the chance to try it, but the hotel have a spa and a gym. Overall, nice experience!

We joined a traditional rifle match in Switzerland in the Kanton Appenzell. We stayed in this Hotel Herisau which we found on Tripadvisor. It was a pleasant surprise. The room was big. The furnitures and decoration tasty and well maintained. The service very friendly. It is just fun to stay here.

The Hotel offers Holiday Apartments, we booked for one week the apartment "Mentha". It is a spacious apartment, fully furnished and equipped (kitchen with oven and dishwasher, no microwave). The Hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from the train station in case you plan to travel with public transport. Car parking is included too. We appreciated the spotless, neat and clean premises of the Hotel. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the basement and shared with other guests/tenants. The machines were at anytime we needed them available and very well taken care of (super clean!). If you travel with young children, we can recommend a playground a 5-8 minutes walk away (Spielplatz Ebnet) or the super cool playground "Kreckel" (5 min. drive). The Hotel Herisau offered our family a perfect stay! The Hotel staff was wonderful and we felt very welcome. We will be back!

The rooms are nice and modern and very clean and comfortable. The staff in friendly and very helpful. But I was not happy that the restaurant was closed because they used to serve very good food, but the food they have now is not nice and the fact that you have to eat in your room sucks. There is no reason why they could not have the terrasse open so we can eat outside. I hope they change this before our next visit.
